You may be right but it irks me when people state absolutes when they have no basis for it. It's called talking out your ass for a reason ya know.

Expect more Markus Kuhn at DT + Cullen Jenkins to bounce back outside to DE in certain packages.
I expect both McBride + Hosley to play.
It is not talking out of your ass when the beat writers are saying the exact same thing...
At least Casillas with his calf injury might actually play
I'm more curious about the 49ers' report. If Staley doesn't make the trip, the young guns on the DL will have a chance to show us something. SF's OL is shaky with Staley. They can barely field an NFL line without him.
...on players game time availability. Man you got me that time.
here how about this:
i would be shocked if Hosely and Mcbride do not play..
Mcbride was limited yesterday so he at least participated in practice which is a good sign, he is listed as Quesitonable because he missed Wednesday and was limited yesterday, rarely does someone get listed as probable if they are limited...
hosely worked on the side Wednesday and Thursday so that is a good sign when it comes to Protocol, so as long as he is cleared he will play...
Is that better for you?
Has Ayers played more than a few snaps this season?
and yes i know they did not practice today BUT the team has to list what the player would of done today had they practiced..Just because the Giants didnt practice doesnt mean they can skip having to put a listing..

Do we have the horses this week, however, to make them pay? It's going to be challenging at LBer to cover again this week. Maybe we see more of a three safety look this week too. Collins can certainly play more down in the box, solid tackler and almost the size of a LBer, with a third safety playing back.
the defensive game plan for this week is the same as last week

IMO, you are looking at this the wrong way.
If you go back and watch the Green Bay game from last week, they blitzed and blitzed over and over. Kap just could not handle the pressure and does not have the receiver corps to make a team pay for blitzing.
IMO, the more likely defensive strategy this week will be to go back to Spangnuolo's old strategy of disguised blitzes from all over.
apparently has faith Kuhn fits into his scheme. Good luck Marcus, be a big body that holds the point of attack. Big loss not having Kennard. Only thing holding DK back it the injury thing. Think our strength is in our coaching staff (as good as anybody in the NFL) who seem to have our players playing bigger than most thought. Go Giants
Bromnley has made rapid progress since the start of preseason. He's already a better player than Kuhn has ever been and he's just tapping in to his potential.
I second. Why that waste of space is even on this team is mind blowing. I can't recall him EVER making a standout play. Our run D will suffer with him.
for us fans. Ayers is a damn good player who finally seemed to have the light bulb come on last season. He would have probably improved this year if he was on the field with Spags coaching him up.
Exactly what hell is wrong with him? Can't they just tape him up and get his ass on the field?
Lost in the Cruz setback was that Ayers had a setback too.
What injury was Ayers recovering from when he "got a hamstring?"
I think the Dline rotation will really pick up soon. Moore is due to either make or break a few plays. Ayers will get over his hammy like Beckham finally did last year, Bromley is slowly but surely improving and Hankins is just Hankins. OO is getting his few rookie reps and will only get better and further removed form his college injury.
I think Reese & crew did a good job of injecting new blood into the trenches and the payoff will come. Fans like myself have to learn patience. I know it takes Dline guys quite a while to adjust to the NFL.
and proves all of you wrong. Go with Spagnuolo and Coughlin on personnel evaluation myself. What is with this hatred of Kuhn ?
In the first game (Dallas), first defensive series, I noticed Kuhn getting involved in every play. He was very active. I don't know how effective but he was in the thick of it and seemed to have plenty of hustle for a guy on skates.
Both will play
I lol'd
Brinkley may get some snaps on run defense as well...
I could see some snaps where Herz is lined up at DE standing up to help set the edge...
Seriously dude..and we still never found out how he mysteriously injured himself during the pre game warm ups...

No way.
Coughlin confirms Daniel Fells still in hospital running a fever. Wishing best for him #Giants

I don't care if San Fran has offensive problems, if Spags can get a decent performance out of these remaining guys then he is a miracle worker...
Agreed. Jenkins has made plays from DT but has been non existent at DE.
Hang 20 on the board, NYG should win, just like I said versus Buf.
You probably aren't going to like this game much.
with Kuhn as probable?
I agree.

Scored a touchdown in December.
