I might hold my breath every time he has the ball in his hands because of tendency to flip and fumble, but Donnell has good hands and a huge catch radius and is a guy I trust as a Red-Zone threat.
but the guy came through in a huge spot. Have to be fair and give him props. This is a what have you done for me lately league though. He needs to be consistent and step up next week especially seeing as good knows what we have available int he receiving corps going into Philly.
to have Tyree coaching up the WRs and TEs about how to pin the ball on the helmet during practices before tonight. then Donnell get the call from Eli, camera pans to Tyree on the sideline, clutches his head, the highlight reel rolls with Donnell making the catch.
More positive on LD than most, but when he caught that ball I didnt even celebrate because I thiught for sure it was bobbled or moved. And not because it was LD, i dont think many receivers can catch a ball like that without some movement as they go to the ground.
It was a play of will. He willed that ball to stay still. Spectacular.
Thankfully, despite mistakes, some egregious at times,
He was actually falling forward into the open space for those few extra yards instead of turning his usual somersaults. Maybe he is starting to get it. And yeah, the TD catch was as clutch as they come.

He's a good RZ target because he there's no chance for him to fumble down there!
was the fact that he held that ball out there, exposed, and neither defender took a swipe at it....
Which begs the question.....would they call it incomplete, even though he had control on the way to the ground, if the defender swiped at it and knocked it out of his hands, as he laid there?
YEAH BABY

HAHAHA AWESOME
Yes he was rough tonight, but the guy he was blocking is supposed to be great.
Eli was not sacked tonight and once last week.
Shit writes itself.
Nope, not in the least.

Ball can move slightly as long as the player maintains possessions throughout the catch.
Good throw, great catch and the Ref with the right call.
Yeah, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one. Herzlich remains awful.
I'm not impressed with his career body of work, but last night, he played well and actually was in on at least two critical 3rd down stops.
