but I still like Knile Davis. From what I have read he's somewhat in the doghouse but he pretty good last year when filling in for Charles. West only received 5 carries two weeks back but got no carries in the first few weeks. This past game he got 7 carries.
I have to put faith in Davis and assume he's gonna do the right things to appease the coaching staff, if that's even needed. At the very least you're talking about two RBs set to split carries. I am gonna ride with the back that actually produced some good numbers when he was given a chance, in 2014. And that guy is Davis.
similar skillset to Charles so the offense doesn't need to change. I'm finally using my #1 waiver on him. Could be this years CJ Anderson (i'm hoping).
3.5 filling in for Charles last year. That's very poor for a team that wants to run first and pass second. I'd be shocked if West doesn't see the better end of the split.

Davis only produced when he was getting all the touches. He's strictly a volumne player who at best will get half the touches. Give me West all day long over Davis.
the only way they can come close to that is if West's similar skillset pans out. He's going to get first crack, IMO. They don't want Smith throwing anymore than they have to and playing from behind isn't ideal for that offense.
If Davis plods along at 3.5 yards per clip, their entire offense has to change.

Yeah i rejected it, working on a deal to get Gronk and Edelman...
