It was nice to see Eli engineer a 4th quarter comeback. The three wins in a row means the arrow is pointing up. In order for this team to make significant stride we need to beat the Eagles and the Romoless Cowboys. I know we have a lot of injuries but I have felt all along that this team is still a year away from competing with the talented teams. Beating our rivals this year will lay the groundwork for next year.
It is our year ... 2007 .... 2011 and now it is 2015. We are due.
Beating the Eagles and Cowboys in consecutive weeks won't be easy. But if we do it, we're in the driver's seat for the NFC East.
Our OL is coming together and when we get Beatty back in a few weeks I believe we'll have better OL depth for OT.
Assuming Beason, Beckham, Randle, Pugh, Kennard and Ayers make it back to practice on Thursday or Friday at worst we should be solid heading into the Monday night game.
We are lucky to have a short trip for a Monday night game followed by Dallas. Go Giants!
Hoping for a better outcome this year. Injuries are concern now heading into these games as well.
The Eagles are more haphazard right now. They have had a lot of transition, and their OL is not very strong.
The Eagles will win this game if there defense dominates the line of scrimmage and controls the game.
The Giants will win this game if there offensive line handles the Eagles defense and Manning can do what he wants.
Or at least that's what I think.
Will at least a player or two come back on defense? I'm pretty sure Casillas and Beason will be back and I'm optimistic about Kenard. That would change the complexion of the LB completely.
On DL I hope, but I see no reason for optimism yet, that either Selvie or Ayers returns.
@ WR - I expect Beckum will play, not so sure about Randle.
Pugh is playing. Bank on it.
If they cant beat Dallas without Romo & Dez at home, it says everything about the Giants.
They really have a good chance to get to 5-2 and 3-1 in the division & 4-2 in the NFC. There is also a chance that Dallas is then 2-4 and Philly, at best is 3-4
You attack Philly the same way they did Buffalo - Buffalo has better players at each level of the defense
