If you're going to be picky about wins, you're watching the wrong team. This roster is rarely going to win pretty. One or more facets are going to suck every week (rotating, it seems) and they're going to have to scratch through in spite of.
And I know everybody is pumped up, and this isn't the right time...
This O is like a motor engine that's short on oil. All the love for McAdoo over Gilbride looks like it was served up waaay too early. Jury is still out on Mac for me...
Et tu Britt? Look around the league, my friend, at everybody save for the Pats and Packers, possibly the Panthers..We're doing the best we can while waiting, as B3 said, for our reinforcements to return..It's a win..
Few wins by many teams are pretty anymore
RE: And I know everybody is pumped up, and this isn't the right time...
we won ... now ... they can move forward ... and get things better from here ... Nice seeing Darkwa in the game ... now Coughlin sees what a weapon he can be going forward ... Good game by Harris too!
The team gutted a win out against a good defense and a demoralizing lost last week. Shit the bitches on this board.
if I may add: on a short week with the Cowboys having 2 weeks to get ready. I just don't get the fans of this team at times. We just took over first place and may have put the first nail in Dallas's coffin and you have fans bitching.
Meanwhile all the media heads are pouring praise all over this team for the job they just did especially given the blow out last week.
if Cole Beasley fields it cleanly, is anybody 100% confident we would have stopped them from tying the game? 1:30 left.
Not me. Seen that movie.
You think Dallas and their fans fans are apologizing for the week one win? Fuck that. You guys sound ridiculous. Can't you just enjoy a fucking win for 3 seconds? Holy shit man, I give up.
We absolutely lose if Romo is in there. This team to need to get healthy in the worst way. However, at the end of the season we won't care how we won this game.
If we had Cruz and Beatty, they might've been slaughtered
A win is a win. People have short memories around here. Rewind to 2007...we sucked most of that season, lots of ups/downs (remember the Minnesota debacle?). We didn't look like a contender until Bradshaw took us on his shoulders in the Buffalo game.
Yes, we aren't real good right now, but the wins count. No points for "What if's", no points for "Style"! What counts is how we stand at the end.
Because they really slaughtered us in week 1, when Romo and Dez played, right? This site has become unreal. Only on BBI is a team that was supposed to finish last in the division demonized for winning a close game against a division rival that has had their number.
Shame on you guys. Can you not enjoy a win anymore? Wtf is wrong with you all?
that line of thought then think about this. What if the Giants defense had all their injured players back and healthy. Would you still say that Romo would kill the Giants. Considering the Giants have always been competitive with the Romo led Cowboys. "If Romo was healthy, we would,be been slaughtered" is a silly statement to make given the facts.
The only fanbase that takes wins and spins them into losses
Eli and Odell should be good enough to elevate this team to at least being competitive in the divisional race. Hopefully the OL progresses in leaps and bounds to form a really strong unit and the Giants can win games against stiffer competition later in the season to make the playoffs.
Anybody that
Josh in the City : 7:48 pm : link : reply
disagrees with the OP is fucking retarded. We were terrible today and any competent QB would have killed us. Stop being homers.
People are enjoying the win without using superlatives like the team is great or going to lock up a playoff spot and people are still bitching?
Has it gotten to a point where people can't even say they are happy with a win? Who is saying anything more than that?
Meanwhile, somehow, it is considered insightful to tear the team down after a divisional win that was called for here as being crucial?
You sir are the fucking retard (your choice of words).
"The Giants need to get a win. 1-9 against Dallas is unacceptable"
Sunday Night - "The Giants suck".
People should be absolutely embarrassed by the game thread. Barely into the 2nd quarter, you had people calling for Reese and TC to be fired.
When are people going to admit they are stupid fucking idiots on game day?
I hope you take this in the spirit it is intended: your ranting about other fans has really reached appalling levels. Yes, the gameday threads are bad. Who has ever said otherwise? Jut stay off them if they are going to make your blood boil. You are a smart guy. These anti-fan rants and calling people "cuntheads" is not worthy of you.
Get the fuck outta here. Considering this is the first time we've beat the Cowboys in a long time, this is the best feeling I've had after a win in a long time.
getting better later. Rough division game against a team that is becoming a defensive force. In '86, there were about 6 games in a row like this one. No, not calling a championship run. But beating Dallas is an absolute must.

Exactly. Winning is all that matters. 2011 Giants looked bad for much of the season as well.

Funny how this works only one way. Would we have destroyed them if we had our LT, star DE and Cruz? Maybe one of the original 8 starting safeties that went down in camp? Take the win and be happy even without romo and dez their 2 lines are way better. Anytime u come away with a win with that in mind be happy

Dallas is becoming a defensive force?
They are very good defensively
12th in YPG, 17th in pass YPG, and 11th in run YPG, and haven't really forced many turnovers. They're better than the Giants, but I certainly wouldn't call that unit very good.

To be fair, and I'm not a huge fan of Dallas' defense, but they've recently gotten back Lee,Gregory and Hardy. They're pretty damn talented now.
and if we had half the guys who have gotten hurt this year
I'll take a win over Dallas and I don't give a shit who they had or didn't have playing. Injuries are part of the game and we have been dealt more then our fair share over the years.

That's definitely a good point, BBS. They have some nice pieces that should form an above-average unit, but I don't think they're close to say the Broncos or other elite units.
the sooner people recognize that this team isn't very good
Against a divisional opponent? A rival? After a complete blowout loss to another division rival? With a banged up secondary and a DL against arguably the best OL in the league?
Do you know how hard it is to win a football game at an advanced level? Against any skilled opponent? No. You don't. Because you're an armchair asshole with no perspective, experience and nary a fucking clue.
If my dick was three inches longer I'd be Long Dong Silver. But it's not. So I use the 11 inches God gave me and everybody's happy.
Leave it to bxgiants - one of the most clueless idiots to ever grace BBI - to start a thread that serves only to spur on the mouthbreathing collective of complete clownshows who one minute BEG for a win, willing to sacrifice their mom's kraft mac n cheese dinner served on the basement tv tray...and the next, vaginally complain like bubblegummed labia once the win is achieved.
A home game, we got destroyed with the run and we knew they were going to run it. Everyone talks about how bad cassel was ignoring that it too special teams plays to do anything.
Can stop the run and cant protect the QB is not a recipe for a playoff team and I think that is what people are seeing here. Also we had hope two weeks ago because the line was playing well but we have seen two weeks in a row that the line is not what we were hoping based on the improvements we have seen. Hopefully they can get better but I don't see where the help is going to come from.

How many "Just win" threads were there this week? Then we win and you have an absolute shitshow.
I know, I know - "fanatics" will say they are allowed to go crazy because that's what fan is short for. But people aren't going crazy for the win. It is almost like some would rather have a loss- and in fact a couple posters put just that exact thing up today. That this win, probably assures us of keeping TC.
Yeah, that sucks balls...
Some people are not happy...unless they have something to bitch about

this game did nothing to convince anyone that the Giants have a shot at a SB ring and in fact probably did the opposite. Therefore its not really an enjoyable of a win.
I don't know why this is difficult to understand.
I also don't know why people care if others arent enjoying the win
Seriously. Eat dick bags. Every god damned fucking year the Giants get completely decimated with injuries and Dallas does NOT. And now I'm supposed to feel sorry or give this win back because their good but fragile qb is out??? Fuck off with this shit. You're a Giants fan and you're gonna shit on the biggest win this team has had in 2 years? Do we not count the dozen NYG guys out and the additional half dozen players playing on one leg???
Here we are the Giants are battling and fighting week after week -- sit at 4-3 and tonight it's non stop bitching and moaning. Maybe they go 7-9 who knows maybe they improve as the year goes and win 9-10 wins but who cares right now? One week at a time! Stop worrying and just enjoy a win. Special teams don't count I guess? Forcing turnovers only sucks when the Giants are on the wrong end we're not allowed to celebrate when the giants d forces a bunch?
I also don't know why people care if others arent enjoying the win
chris r : 10:32 pm : link : reply
as much as they are.
Because those fucking people keep posting about how they aren't enjoying the win. We wouldn't care if the stupidity wasn't front and center - sort of like you appearing on a thread.
Have a lot of talent and would likely be a top ten team if ROmo were there. Cassel is not a bad QB but he makes big mistakes which is what he did tonight.
This isnt a terrible team we squeaked by. They will win some games with Cassel and were in a position to win games with Weeden but he is really bad.
Its a good win, Giants are still a middle of the road team with glaring holes, but we beat a good team that lacks a great QB.
Yards dont matter, points do. Spags understands this and really saves the creative preasure for the Red zone. Its a bend but dont break style which forces qbs to make mistakes which is exactly what happened. Im not sure why anyone wouldnt enjoy beating this team.
Sorry. I feel decent, even just for a couple minutes.
And that's a point for too many knuckleheads are missing. We just put Dallas on life support here! Does anyone realize how nice it is knowing Dallas is in huge trouble!!?? Do you want Dallas getting romo and Dez back with a decent record come December? I don't. You don't.
With the legion of disgusting Dallas fans, five straight losses and faced with Dallas winning the east two years in a row here and taking SIX straight from NYG.
This win was a blessing. A gift from the Gods. A reprieve. A second chance at stealing a playoff spot this year.
I was standing on my seat at the game as Harris was taking the KO to the house and I was laughing at the jerk off Dallas fans that were egging on the Giants fans like the mutant jerkoffs they are. Tie game and you're talking trash? Harris TD Giants lead suck it Dallas.
I loved tonight's game. Loved it.
RE: I also don't know why people care if others arent enjoying the win
I am happy with the victory, as I am any time the Giants win. Okay? Thank you DRC and Dwayne Harris for your outstanding play.
That said, big picture, I am unhappy with the talent level on this team.
After what should be nearing the conclusion of a three year rebuild, the team has as many flaws and questions as it did at the start of said rebuild, despite a large roster turnover.
Reese has seemingly struck out on both of his high priced FA Oline aquisitions. Both lines were manhandled by the Cowboys, who held the ball for 38 minutes. The offense only scored 1 TD for the second week in a row. Yes, I like Flowers, Pugh, and Richburg, I just wish it hadn't taken until last year to finally address the line in the draft.
Teams like San Fran who are getting blown out by other teams around the league, are taking us to the limit at home in the final seconds, and we make them look like competent teams.
Winning is great. Especially against the Cowboys. Glad we're 4-3. Glad we're currently in first place in the division. I'm unhappy with the state of the roster because the record doesn't feel sustainable in it's current state.
If that makes me a shitty fan that needs to stop watching the Giants, so be it. I'll likely continue watching since I've been watching for 30 years now, but I'll take advice under consideration.
Look deeper at the OP's motivation for posting this
He was rooting for Matt Cassel to beat the Giants so he and his fellow miserable douches would of had a week of running wild here killing everything the moves in Blue. The next best thing is to play what if, so he and his band of misery could still get their rocks off
is just fucking ridiculous.
A win is a win in my book. all that matters in this league is wins and losses. (WE WON)the fucking game dude...
This is why I rarely post on here anymore. because of dumb ass comments like this.
You people really do make me sick, and wonder why I even read this nonsense.
I bet you feel bad after every victory, and find something to bitch about. It's in your woman like nature to find fault in everything and create drama.
Sure it wasn't perfect and looked ugly at times, but like I said before,a win is a win in this league.
After last week we needed this victory in any way shape or form. i'll take it and (BE HAPPY)about it,and then move onto next week. Instead of finding fault in a win that put us back in 1st place.
Wow. What a fucking jk of a fan base we have. And when I say (WE) and (US),I dn't mean (YOU)!!!
We dn't need or want your kind of support. So go root for the perfect Pat's. You know you want to,and we (really),really want you to...
Save your comments for someone else who cares. Or better yet. KILL YOURSELF!!!! :)
Giants hadn't beaten the Cowboys since 2012. I'll take any win over that smirking asshole Jason Garrett and his douchebag owner any day of the week.
The team, with NO and TB up next, has a chance to be 6-3 going into the NE game (and the chance to defeat another undefeated Patriots team - something this organization specializes in). Based on how the team has played the past couple of weeks, I can't help but think that Brady is licking his chops and waiting for revenge, and this time around there are certainly no Tucks, Osis or Strahans to make him uncomfortable in the pocket. But if the Giants can get to 6-3......momentum in football is more important than in any other sport, and I think the D may surprise us.
there's nothing wrong with realizing the Giants are a work in progress. They are far from a finished product. It's fine to worry about how good this team is. But it's ridiculous to talk up style points or talk up weaknesses on a day the Giants won the biggest game they have had in 3 years. No one cares right now. No one should care right now.
I can rattle off dozens of "ugly concerning" wins that title winning teams achieved during the season. The 86 Giants barely beat dallas once and lost to them another time. Dallas sucked that year. The Giants barely beat the Cardinals and Pats in 1990. Both those teams were god awful. The Giants squeaked by teams throughout the 07 and 11 seasons. Who cares. And some of you are wrong about saying the Giants never blow anyone out. They have 2 semi blowout wins this season alone. IF anything, the Giants need to win more games like yesterday. The ugly close wins define a team. Ugly wins like yesterday make the difference between 8 or 9 wins.
You're nuts if you focus on the negatives from yesterday. Flat out nuts. Focus on the negatives when the season is over and the team missed the playoffs. Right now this team is battling and fighting and doing everything they can to win games. They are 4-3. They have been completely rocked with injury and yet they are still standing. Last night was wonderful in my view. It was everything this team has failed to do the last 2.5 years. It was a huge win. Maybe they miss the playoffs. But right now no one should give a fuck. The Giants just moved to 4-3 and put Dallas on a death watch. That's all that matters.
how a fan could frown upon a win like this but then go thermo nuclear if the Giants lost a game like this. And it would make perfect sense to be miserable if the Giants lost a game like Dallas did. Why wouldn't you feel the exact opposite with the win?
What if NYG wasn't missing a handful of its best players?
that the Giants were going to have their hands full yesterday because Dallas has the good OL and DL. The Giants won't face too many teams like that again this season. Dallas is flawed and a bit overrated even with Romo but their OL and DL matchup well with the Giants. And we just survived and put them in the rear view mirror.
The Saints are playing better but there O and D lines aren't on the same planet as Dallas. The Giants (should) matchup with the Saints.
Oh and ill keep saying it. Special teams count too. NYG's specials are clicking. Remember Philly winning all those games the last 2 seasons? They did it with specials. All i heard from NYG fans was how much better Philly was than the Giants. Now the Giants win in Philly fashion and you're fucking complaining. LOL...can't make this up.
He ain't shredding anybody. Actually what the Saints are doing plays into the Giants' strengths.
If the Giants tackle well, keep things in front of them, and don't blow assignments the Saints are going to need a lot of plays to score points. That isn't a big play offense.
On the other side, Rob Ryan is the Saints' defensive coordinator. If you don't salivate at that then you haven't been paying attention.
We've scored 7 and 13 points on offense in consecutive weeks
The right side of the O-Line is regressing and breaking down consistently in passing situations. We needed a pick six against a rusty backup QB and a return TD to avoid a loss vs the RomoDez-less cowboys. All in a game with a huge positive turnover advantage. But yeah we're looking good. /koolaid
But a lot of that has to do with the fact we're just as injured as they are. If we had a healthy JPP, Beatty, Cruz, and Prince...they would have been slaughtered. It goes both ways. Why give the other team a pass and not your own?!
Why does the fact that Dallas is Romo-less have to be continually
That doesn't mean you kid yourselves about how you played or got the win. Our offense was bad, particularly pass protection on the right side. Our defense was bad, anytime you give up 200 yards on the ground you're statistical chances of winning are abysmal. So how did we do it. DRC and Harris is how.
If ever a win was built on a house of cards it was yesterday. But hey, why let facts interrupt your feel good Monday Fats.
RE: We've scored 7 and 13 points on offense in consecutive weeks

Good for you bro. Bravo. You're doing the lord's work here. Make sure every fan knows that yesterday's win was tainted. Feel better now?
Not counting the pick-6, the offense has turned 5 turnovers into, what, 3 points the last two weeks?
That's disgusting. Send Beckham downfield once, FFS. And throw it to him.
+4 turnovers and two defensive/special teams scores and we win by 7 after being doubled-up on first downs and yards and essentially never really stopping the Cowboys outside of the turnovers. The offense cannot -- or refuses to -- move the ball. OBJ only getting sporadic looks. He should be the first read on every pass play, bracketed, doubled, notwithstanding.
A win is a win, but this team needs to feed the ball to Beckham more. They are also going nowhere if they don't sort out the line play. We won't be getting 4 gifts and two non-offense TDs every game.

You've got to be kidding me with this shit.
There are definitely times I don't agree with djm. But he knocked it out of the park here. Those other teams aren't giving back their wins when they play us every year and we're absolutely decimated with injuries. Now they know what it feels like to eat shit.
Enjoying a win and understanding you didn't play well...
...aren't mutually exclusive. I don't get this need to immerse yourself in some kind of a delusional lovefest with everything Giants to appreciate we won the game.
We've lost a couple games we could have won this season. Now we won one we should have lost. We'll take it. The season is still alive and we can improve. We better because if we put what we saw on the field yesterday out there a few more times it's not going to end well.
you Giants fans make me sick.... especially the one who posted.... you run your mouths off complaining all offseason, preseason and here we stand at 4-3 and you're still acting like little babies.... nothing satisfies any of you but I'll address the one who posted this.... our dline is an issue, its obvious we were destroyed on the ground and yes the victory was minus Romo/Dez but the game plan as someone mentioned would have been different for Dallas and they most likely would have taken to the air a lot more... look at the positives, the Giants are at the top of the league is forcing turnovers, DRC has been playing like a Pro Bowl CB and minus Prince we still managed to come out with 3 INTs... forcing turnovers has been a strong point for us this season and we are also among the best in intercepting the opposing team's ball.... you are not going to get a perfect game every game, the point is coming out on top regardless of the situation which is what we did... I saw more positives in this game then recent weeks, offensively speaking not as much as the D.... passing game consisted of a few great passing plays but aside from that there was none... there is hope for the ground game which I think ALWAYS has to be established in order to have a successful passing game and come out on top..... one of the things that irritated the shit out of me is we will do one thing really good, like running with Darkwa in the first half, and then stop doing it in the second half as though we think the other team is going to target it and try and stop it.... if they didnt stop it then why do you think they are going to stop it now??? you establish the running game like we did and continuing pounding the ball every possession which in return opens up the passing game.... aside from all of this you guys rarely are satisfied with anything at all regardless what it is.... you all sound like a bunch of babies here... go take the brooms out of you @## and post some decent sh!t or shut up.... how old are you people? do you even know ANYTHING about football? apparently not... school kids here, thats why I could give two shits less whether I post again here or not....
Seriously. Eat dick bags. Every god damned fucking year the Giants get completely decimated with injuries and Dallas does NOT. I don't know why this is difficult to understand.
Bull. Fucking. Shit. I hate to tell you, but you play to win the game that is up on the schedule. That's it. Period. We've seen a couple of times now that once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. It's not even halfway through the season yet. Get some guys back, keep improving, maybe by time the playoffs come around, we are fortunate enough to still be playing and hopefully by then we ARE playing like a SB contender. It's fucking STUPID to be worrying about the SB right now and crying about a huge win against a division rival. Not one single team is the same now as they will be 10 weeks from now.
was the same person who started threads during the 11 season hoping the team just missed the playoffs because they were just going to lose 1st round...
Who cares how you win?..The Giants had how many snaps on offense in the 2nd half? barely any...
Who cares if they won on an INT return and a kick off return? really so they won ugly and Giants fans should be upset about that?
Isnt it a good thing that the Giants didnt play their best game and still won? and they beat a team with extra rest while the giants were playing on a short week..
Pretty sure in 07 and 11 Giants had ugly wins during the season, did you say then that the team was bad and going nowhere?
no one would argue that the Giants are a work in progress that they need to play better. Whatever. All that matters is winning games at this point. Especially at this point. Does anyone remember which NFL teams were playing the best in October or in January?
Mike Francessa is echoing the OP as we speak. And he's flat out out of line here too. He's acting like the Giants team or fan base is walking around today talking shit and booking playoff tickets. No one is. We're just enjoying a win and looking forward to next week WHILE shoveling a little more dirt on Dallas. That's what the mistaken individual misses right now. Mike is not a real team fan anymore so of course he's gonna take the hard line approach. But this isn't January. It's October. There's room for error as long as you win. That's the point.
He's talking about how well the Jets played... are the Pats going to drop 10 passes EVERY time they play the Jets? People ignore what they want to ignore.
I'm not even saying the Giants looked good yesterday, but people seem to be real quick to give other teams injury passes while ignoring the numerous injuries with the Giants.
" I was more impressed with the Jets loss than the Giants win"
The Jets aren't winning any super bowls in October and they sure as fuck aren't winning any super bowls while losing in admirable fashion.
Which team was playing better football in September of 2011? The Jets. Which team was playing better football in October of 2007--Dallas or the Giants? Dallas.
This isn't college football. All you need to do right now is survive. Is any Giants fan going to hand the NFC East trophy back if the Giants steal the east this year with a 9-7 record? If this team is 8-7 and hosting Philly in week 17 for the Eastern Crown will anyone care how ugly last night's win was?
It's amazing to me how disrespected special teams wins are. Unless the Giants lose to a special teams play--then it's amazing. But if we win with it, it's lucky? Unreal...
gun to my head I don't think we win the division. But I wouldn't be surprised in the least if we did. It's pretty much a toss up between us and Philly and maybe the skins...lol ok no way the Skins.
So maybe we do struggle here...who knows. I just feel good today knowing Dallas is sinking and the Giants aren't. And hey you never know...maybe this team peaks here over the next month or two. The offense could play better. Maybe it does.
[quote]It's amazing to me how disrespected special teams wins are. Unless the Giants lose to a special teams play--then it's amazing. But if we win with it, it's lucky? Unreal...{/quote]
If Romo was in there they wouldn't have run for 250 yards
Feels cheap.
Even Cassell Had all day to throw. They need a skilled pass rusher worse than anything.
If you're going to be picky about wins, you're watching the wrong team. This roster is rarely going to win pretty. One or more facets are going to suck every week (rotating, it seems) and they're going to have to scratch through in spite of.
If you really think about it, we're in bad shape.
Romo makes his turnovers. We got a few turnovers in the 1st game a few weeks ago also.
If we did not have to start back up players all over the team
If only Plax did not shoot his leg
It's really silly to sit here and say that given the injuries we also have and after a win against a division rival.
If you really think about it, we're in bad shape.
Et tu Britt? Look around the league, my friend, at everybody save for the Pats and Packers, possibly the Panthers..We're doing the best we can while waiting, as B3 said, for our reinforcements to return..It's a win..
Few wins by many teams are pretty anymore

The team gutted a win out against a good defense and a demoralizing lost last week. Shit the bitches on this board.
Agree. This got them to at least important december games imv. Enjoy a very critical Win.
If you really think about it, we're in bad shape.
The whole division is in bad shape.
It's a matter of sucking just slightly less over 16 games and every win, no matter how ugly, is a step towards that.
Last week was rough. We got a win this week. Be happy.
I'm really amused by the "Cowboys made a ton of mistakes today" instead of admitting the giants defenders might have actually made some plays.
After the win, against a division opponent that puts us in 1st place?
"If Romo was parlaying, we'd have gotten out asses kicked!". Shameful. I wish we got to blame injuries the pat 3 years...loser.
Feels cheap.
Feels like I bought something off the clearance rack at Wal-Mart :(
Every win over Dallas is great.
Not me. Seen that movie.
That's disgusting. Send Beckham downfield once, FFS. And throw it to him.
A kick return and a pick six. 14 points and we won by 7.

To add Rigs, if we can get our shit together in the next 9 games, we've got our secret weapon ready for his run-Eli
:)
Seriously?
Do you have bad orgasms too?
Every win over Dallas is great.

Exactly. That's all I'm saying.

The team gutted a win out against a good defense and a demoralizing lost last week. Shit the bitches on this board.
Meanwhile all the media heads are pouring praise all over this team for the job they just did especially given the blow out last week.
Not me. Seen that movie.
And if there's no brainfart at the end of the First game, we beat them with Romo and Dez..That was as close to a lock win as you're going to get..
Okay Britt, you're in your mood, do with it as you care to..You have every right my friend..
Not me. Seen that movie.
You think Dallas and their fans fans are apologizing for the week one win? Fuck that. You guys sound ridiculous. Can't you just enjoy a fucking win for 3 seconds? Holy shit man, I give up.
What if the refs catch either a FB or RB flinching the 2 times they did in the tying TD drive for Dallas?
Here's the thing - when we needed to make plays to win, Harris and Wing/White did it. That isn't a what if - it is a fucking fact.
Isn't it though? Wonder what the Falcons board is like after squeaking by the Titans..
So what goes around comes around.
Take the win and be happy. The margin of victory in the NFL is not very big.
I am 100% confident.
Was it a pretty game? No. But so fucking what! We won. We beat Dallas. We're 4-3. If Panthers win tonight, back in some possession of first.
Let these guys enjoy the win for a day or so, then get ready for New Orleans.
It helps the pass protection when you barely have the ball.
Tony Dorsett?
Wow - very productive shit here.
Are the Giants a juggernaut? No.
But they're 4-3. In a mediocre division.
Getting to the post-season is the thing. If any of you nellies have paid attention, you know anything can happen at that point.
This isn't 2007. But with this quarterback? This coach? This D-coordinator? Maybe late returns from 80 and 90?
Some good health the last portion of the season? A couple breaks?
That's why we do this. That's why I'll continue to hope for things to fall into place.
Come to think of it, you could probably say that about almost every championship team in the past 50 years......
But, continue to make yourself feel bad...........
If Romo was in there they wouldn't have run for 250 yards
That makes you feel better? The defense knew they were playing a crap QB and still got gashed on the ground.
If, if, if.
Yes, we aren't real good right now, but the wins count. No points for "What if's", no points for "Style"! What counts is how we stand at the end.
Shame on you guys. Can you not enjoy a win anymore? Wtf is wrong with you all?
Sunday Night - "The Giants suck".
People should be absolutely embarrassed by the game thread. Barely into the 2nd quarter, you had people calling for Reese and TC to be fired.
When are people going to admit they are stupid fucking idiots on game day?
Are you in Jr. High or just ignorant? Grow up.
Not at all.
But if you are busy sucking on that bong and shouting out woo-hoos and boo-yahs after this game, your eyeglasses must have a decidedly blue tint...
We are not a good team. That's obvious at this point. Our O has zero rythm or groove, and that is disheartening to watch.
On D, Beason was a shell of his former self this game... This team needs a Mike very, very badly.
But keep bogarting those roaches, if it makes y'all happy.

RJ is happy..:)
No it's not our problem. Our problem is that our QB is healthy and our offense stinks!
Dallas is becoming a defensive force?
Exactly. Winning is all that matters. 2011 Giants looked bad for much of the season as well.
Quote:
getting better later. Rough division game against a team that is becoming a defensive force. In '86, there were about 6 games in a row like this one. No, not calling a championship run. But beating Dallas is an absolute must.
Dallas is becoming a defensive force?
They are very good defensively
The Giants are currently in sole possession of first place, they play hard, don't quit and make big plays when needed.
I am excited to watch how they do as the rest of the season plays out and see who is the next giant to step up in a big moment.

12th in YPG, 17th in pass YPG, and 11th in run YPG, and haven't really forced many turnovers. They're better than the Giants, but I certainly wouldn't call that unit very good.
Playing Seattle next week?
Sorry. I feel decent, even just for a couple minutes.

To be fair, and I'm not a huge fan of Dallas' defense, but they've recently gotten back Lee,Gregory and Hardy. They're pretty damn talented now.

That's definitely a good point, BBS. They have some nice pieces that should form an above-average unit, but I don't think they're close to say the Broncos or other elite units.
Just look at the roster. The cupboard is pretty bare.
Fucking. Assholes.

Man some of you are fucking weird.

as much as they are.
Because those fucking people keep posting about how they aren't enjoying the win. We wouldn't care if the stupidity wasn't front and center - sort of like you appearing on a thread.
I thought this win was quite enjoyable.
Playing Seattle next week?
Sorry. I feel decent, even just for a couple minutes.
And that's a point for too many knuckleheads are missing. We just put Dallas on life support here! Does anyone realize how nice it is knowing Dallas is in huge trouble!!?? Do you want Dallas getting romo and Dez back with a decent record come December? I don't. You don't.
Carry on with the crankiness
This win was a blessing. A gift from the Gods. A reprieve. A second chance at stealing a playoff spot this year.
I was standing on my seat at the game as Harris was taking the KO to the house and I was laughing at the jerk off Dallas fans that were egging on the Giants fans like the mutant jerkoffs they are. Tie game and you're talking trash? Harris TD Giants lead suck it Dallas.
I loved tonight's game. Loved it.
It has nothing to with "others enjoying the win as much", it has to do with the stains that shit on the win like you and fluffy.
The Giants win and, you act like you just watched a kid get hit by a bus.
Grow a pair.
But if the Giants can get to 6-3......momentum in football is more important than in any other sport, and I think the D may surprise us.
you're a loser
But who cares, they've lost games they should have won (Cowboys 1, Falcons) and won one they should have lost. All evens out.
Seriously - was I the only one who saw the opener? What part of television signal averse Siberia was the OP in for that one?
So are JPP, Beatty, and Prince.
Injuries are a part of football and Romo seems to get injured more than most QBs. Cowboys should learn to protect him better.
Keep improving. Keep fighting.
Brees is shredding nobody this year, but will absolutely destroy us......
The Giants got it done.
So what's the point?
If the Giants tackle well, keep things in front of them, and don't blow assignments the Saints are going to need a lot of plays to score points. That isn't a big play offense.
On the other side, Rob Ryan is the Saints' defensive coordinator. If you don't salivate at that then you haven't been paying attention.
Could you please post, even on a day after a huge win where people are acting as the team is a juggernaut?
Or are you just being your usual cunty self? How long before you log in as raever and forget to log back out to switch to Torrag?
But, a win is a win and now it's back to practice to work on improving for the Saints, and hopefully get healthier as well.
Could you please post, even on a day after a huge win where people are acting as the team is a juggernaut?
Or are you just being your usual cunty self? How long before you log in as raever and forget to log back out to switch to Torrag?
We dont even need Kehl here for Torrag to make an ass out of himself.
Did I miss something? Does Tony play offense for us, or is he Dallas' Nikita Whitlock?
If ever a win was built on a house of cards it was yesterday. But hey, why let facts interrupt your feel good Monday Fats.
Good for you bro. Bravo. You're doing the lord's work here. Make sure every fan knows that yesterday's win was tainted. Feel better now?
Where are these posts talking about how great the team is? Who are you arguing this point against?
Is it that difficult to enjoy the win and not shit on the team?
Don't answer that - the point is fucking clear as day.
We've lost a couple games we could have won this season. Now we won one we should have lost. We'll take it. The season is still alive and we can improve. We better because if we put what we saw on the field yesterday out there a few more times it's not going to end well.
Can you point to even one poster or one post that is doing that?
Just one?
You've got to be kidding me with this shit.
...agree 100% bunch of freaking babies here. Stfu already and enjoy the d@mn win you freaking complaining little midgets
On to New Orleans with a divisional win in our pockets. Life sucks, but we just have to find a way to move on.
If we did not have to start back up players all over the team
If only Plax did not shoot his leg
It's really silly to sit here and say that given the injuries we also have and after a win against a division rival.
Apparently, injury issues only apply to other teams. People are acting like the Giants have their entire squad out there and they just suck.
Romo was healthy for 1 game this season... a game his team had no business winning against the Giants. Boo fuckin' hoo.
I'm not even saying the Giants looked good yesterday, but people seem to be real quick to give other teams injury passes while ignoring the numerous injuries with the Giants.
Unreal...
So maybe we do struggle here...who knows. I just feel good today knowing Dallas is sinking and the Giants aren't. And hey you never know...maybe this team peaks here over the next month or two. The offense could play better. Maybe it does.
