He can't hold Manningham's jock. I wish he was MM, cause that's a pretty good player who actually gave a shit and made plays when it counted. What a joke that was from him.
the guy is gutting it out with tendonitis in his knees and a bad hammy.
If that is true that the Giants have Cruz who is basically on IR, Randle who is basically walking wounder, cut Preston Parker 2 weeks in and let James Jones go then the this is a colossal fail by the team to stock the roster.
At the very least the Giants could have picked up someone who actually was healthy before the season started.
the guy is gutting it out with tendonitis in his knees and a bad hammy.
Spare me the sob story. He gets fucking paid - dive for the ball. This isn't the first time he has refused to sell out. That ball should have been caught.
had to dive for that ball. I know he has tendonitis and a bad hammy, but even a slight dive would have allow him to catch the ball. That would have given us a chance at a FG.
Dive for the fucking ball. That would be huge for your team. I truly hope we don't re-sign him. Not only that, Isaw him jogging on his fucking routes. Way to go full speed. Harris is going to pass you on the depth chart. And IF.. Cruz comes back RR will need to show a lot more.
but to be so excited to post a thread bashing an offensive player in a game like this just once again speaks to the creepy, weird nature of you.
Once again, patiently awaiting the final whistle to click the submit button and troll BBI.
Guys, please stop feeding the troll.
Give it a rest dude. He's creepy? You seem to be able to find all of his posts to start shitting on him. Randle blows and made no effort whenthe game could've been won...he's not wrong
There are hundreds of people on this message board who care more than the guy getting paid the money. Im pretty much devistated after this game. How do you feel Ruben?

Every time I'm on BBI just as the final whistle sounds, literally seconds later, there's a pre-planning thread ready.
I get this won't be a popular opinion now because fans just want to be angry and throw stuff, so sure, let's attack Reuben Randle of all people after today's game. But it's the truth.
Seems like he can hardly run, I am shocked he can cut or run a route. If this is true has to make it easier for the DB covering him and allow the defense to take more liberties against us while defending other players or areas.

Go cry to Eric. Game is over. Multiple threads are started. Its not uncommon. Stop being a bitch for oen day in your life. You have nothing to add, ignore it. But keep being creepy bitch.
I would cut his ass tomorrow. Not just the fact he should have made an effort for the game winner, but he doesn't even go for YAC when he catches the ball. He runs out of bounds avoiding contact. And if it's his fucking injury that makes him do that then that's just a good of reason to cut him. Done with him.
That doesn't stop you from making a play when a ball hits your hands. Injuries don't prevent your ability to dive for a ball either. Like others said, he has no heart. He did not give 100% on that play. He's gone next season and it shouldn't be that difficult to find another guy who can match what he's giving the team lately. Harris was injured today too but he was making huge plays and he was giving the team MUCH more than Randle has. Fuck Randle.
He's tracking the ball and thinks he has it without leaving his feet. He should have left his feet to improve his chances of getting a PI? Really? That's ridiculous.
There are plenty of things to rip about Randle but this isn't one of them.
Why not sign him? Randle is a waste. It seems like he is not only not giving 100 percent but seems like he is in the way outside or doesn't play the back shoulder right.

Its exactly one of them. Its the epitome of his career. Chance to make a huge play, and doesnt. There was minimal contact.

I disagree, there was a good enough tug to put a hamper on Randle's momentum. Should have been a penalty. Had it been the other way around I would have thought the giants db got away with one.
That was a moment he had to just sell out to make the play. He didn't.
Shaun O'Hara in the post game said the same thing, "Why didn't he lay out for it?"
I'm not sure if RR does anything better than Geremy Davis right now. I think Geremy wold give everything he's got. I'd put the kid in, if RR is this hurt, let him heal up. If not, he's a dog.

I don't think it was PI.....but this is Randle's history.
He does not make a play on any ball, it's got to be exactly spot on for him to catch it. The only ball he is able to actually make nice plays on are slants, where is does reach up and catch it. But on fades/sideline routes the ball has to be perfectly dropped in, or he's not getting it.
You have to go up and snatch that ball from Eli, in that situation.
points the offense scored. the ball was thrown for him to make a play. even Donnell made a huge catch this game. this is th story of his career.
and as far as his injuries... you're right we don't know the extent of them.... but if you aren't even on the injury report for the week.... you can't be badly injured.
the defense for this player is just funny now.
Yeah the effort from this guy is getting problematic
It's one thing to have Mario-esque brain farts, but coupled with lack of effort is tough.
Even if that was PI, had he tried harder to lift his arm (even 'flop' or act like he did) would have made it more likely to get called. Not definite, but NOT lifting your arm means the DB isn't visibly restricting your motion
The PI in the endzone too. Sure you were held but don't STOP. When he did it almost got picked. Had he continued a) might have made PI more obvious and b) prevented the ball from hitting the DB in the chest
But as said, RR is far from the biggest problem tho he's not helping enough
Randle is not healthy.
Randle was limping out of bounds the series earlier on the quick hitter. Randle busted his ass to get downfield open... despite not being healthy. The ball was barely overthrown... the defender was draped all over him... if he dives (is he even capable of diving given his leg?) there is no guarantee he gets to the ball and the defender again was all over him.
Do i want randle back next year? no... but the axe for this guy for no good reason 2015 related is pathetic... and got old a while ago.

Of course its pointless, but if it were Eli, you would join in the crusade. Its amazing the amount of posters defending him.
We dont know if he can dive? Seriously. Do you see him dive to the ground untouched every time he catches it?

no i wouldnt join on any crusade.
I watch games... i comment on players... i dont lurk and wait to post on the players i dont like.
"could he have dove" comment is the defender is all over him and he is goin full speed while not healthy.... diving in that scenario is not easy.
this was not a drop... this was a play we just missed- a bummer but get over it.
its pathetic.

Wrong. Go listen to Toomer post game. The effort on the play is pathetic. The running out of bounds without getting hit is pathetic. The falling down without being touched is pathetic.
You want to know what separates playoff teams from non playoff teams? Playoff have players who make that play. We have 1. And Rueben Randle aint one of them. 4 years going on with this game and we are saying the same thing...
mentally and physically. Just not a likable player.
Every now and then he flashes some impressive ability like his one handed catch last week and the handful of impressive catches he's had over the years, but on a play to play basis this guy just does not bring it on a consistent basis.
I think he'd be a real weapon at the #3 WR spot if we had a healthy Cruz, but he's just a bad #2 WR right now since he's clearly not healthy.
its a fact.
but carry on.
I would have thought you would be more angry with the Harris ball that hit his hands. not a hypothetical "could he have dove and would he have caught it".
Maybe there's a reason he fell to the second round?
its a fact.
but carry on.
I would have thought you would be more angry with the Harris ball that hit his hands. not a hypothetical "could he have dove and would he have caught it".
You have NO CLUE how hurt he is. None. If he is hurt, and not on the injury report, the Giants are liable to fines. He wasnt on the injurt report this week. He looks the same today as he has for the last 4 years.
Make those excuses though. Its not just the last play. Its running out of bounds without being hit. Getting taken out of plays with some contact. He's soft. He is slow. And he has hurt us in too many games throughout in his career.
everybody went into full melt-down mode when Colinsworth talked about what a loser Randle was off the field? People need to remember that these announcers are getting their info from someone on the team...
its a fact.
but carry on.

You don't have a clue either. You're being a bit naive, or are purposefully ignorant about the injury report/fines...teams aren't always transparent with them, matter of fact, they are never transparent.
Look, there is no guarantee that a better effort results in a catch
After it went through Harris' hands he just stood there and watched as the Saints nearly intercepted it. no effort to make a catch off the deflection. No effort to break up the play against the DB. No effort. He literally just stood there.
I'm not happy with the drop by Harris. But, at least it wasn't for lack of effort.
He's a total dog of a WR.
How are you a wr at the highest level and not try to make a play on that ball.
Also, this D has a loooooong way to go.
Randle is Preston Parker at this point. Dwayne Harris is the second best WR on this team.
He can't hold Manningham's jock. I wish he was MM, cause that's a pretty good player who actually gave a shit and made plays when it counted. What a joke that was from him.
...until I saw him with the game on the fucking line and not lay out for a beautifully throw ball.
Is this guy afraid of getting hurt?
Yep.
No on my fucking team.
Let this guy go at end of season.
No new fucking contracts for players who won't play hard, especially with the game on the line.
I'd normally agree with this, but his injuries are no excuse for not making a play on that pass on that last drive.
It was just a typical Randle play, good legs or bad legs.
are you his agent? his supposed tendonitis stopped him from trying to make a play on that deep shot?
If that is true that the Giants have Cruz who is basically on IR, Randle who is basically walking wounder, cut Preston Parker 2 weeks in and let James Jones go then the this is a colossal fail by the team to stock the roster.

Lot of players gut it out. Others run out of bound swithout getting hit. Let up on deep balls. And fall down on their own.
The Same harris that dropped a much easier ball at the end?
Once again, patiently awaiting the final whistle to click the submit button and troll BBI.

this is it in a nutshell
but this is how he pplays
What did they see in him when they drafted him in THE 2ND ROUND?
It certainly wasn't heart.

Hey its fucking pussy ass bitch boy. Next time Ill start the thread tomorrow. Now go fuck off and eat dinner with your mom or something.
Geezuz...it was so bad I can't even call it an attempt to catch it.
And not that it really affected the catch, but the defender puts his hand over the shoulder and its not a PI??

is light years better.

yes

His knees had nothing to do with the effort on that last target.
Laying out or just extending his arms isn't going to hurt his legs more than pulling up is -- frankly, it would probably hurt far less.
yup
You are the one who follows me to threads and make remarks about me instead of the thread itself. Thats not creepy?
I think you are a fucking bitch. You got a problem with, go cry to Eric.
I get this won't be a popular opinion now because fans just want to be angry and throw stuff, so sure, let's attack Reuben Randle of all people after today's game. But it's the truth.

You say stop feeding the troll, yet you are still here replying to comments. Kind of strange
I can not even fathom how a WR does not try to make a play there.
Combine that with his alligator arm shit last week. Or the countless mental erros and drops since he was brought in.
The jury is back, he is not good, he is an anchor on this team's success. Play anyone else.

I totally agree. I am just referring to his overall slow speed this year. Bad knees or not his effort sucked on that throw at the end.
Absolutely!
Just jump in the air a bit and you have the ball.
Here's what I saw of Randle today:
1. Loafing on an in-cut in first quarter, and Eli actually goes to him on his second look. Result: Incomplete.
2. Catches ball for 7 yards, and INSTEAD of putting his head down and going for some extra yards, goes out of bounds. Nice.
3. The play on this thread.
Brutal, RR, just f'ing brutal.
I don't like Randle but the DB made a play that was probably PI but he got away with it.

how about last week, when he ran out of bounds with the defenders BEHIND him?
I don't like Randle but the DB made a play that was probably PI but he got away with it.
if he laid out or fought harder to catch the ball with the guy grabbing his arm, maybe we would've had a PI call...hmmm? MIND. BLOWN.
