ODDS TO WIN 2016 SUPER BOWL - (
New Window )
At the end of the day does anyone really KNOW how a team like Carolina or Cincinnati will respond once the pressure really hits their shoulders and they aren't playing 1:00 games against Tampa Bay which are televised in 2 small markets?
NFL history is riddled with 13-3 paper tigers who melt under the bright lights.
That is what gives me hope. IF the Giants can win this division it will have gotten there playing a gauntlet of a schedule, and the matchups in the NFC aren't that daunting to me. I'd try to avoid the Packers and Cardinals just because really really good pocket qbs give us fits. Other than that once the playoffs start don't be surprised if we aren't one of the favorites. That's IF we get in of course.

Even the very biased Aikman said yesterday said the Giants fear no one and feel they can beat anyone (even before the Patriots debacle)

Why avoid the Packers- they are our traditional route to the Super Bowl
neither can match our QB or overall talent level
Amen limerick. Amen

that's close to 10-1, not impressive considering they are undefeated
But for Amendola's trick play (which we will never fall for again) we win that game easily

Well said. I am not so scared of the PATS.
they want balance, to guarantee that they win
You've probably never bet on horses before. 17/2 is the same as 8.5/1, but for some reason they won't use decimals.
Let's see how far Dallas fans drive down that already-low 75-1 number now that Romo is back at practice. Never mind that no 2-7 team has ever made the playoffs.
Interesting that Philly is a much longer shot than the Giants. I guess Eagle-fan bettors have learned their lesson from painful experience: there's one thing they should NEVER bet on.
The Packers are weak
The Panthers are the Panthers, Bengals just got exposed
Seattle is weak
Its an empty highway open road in the desert........we are on cruise control to win it again

3 of the top 11.
If we are truly a playoff team, then it shouldn't matter...

Well Carolina and Philly come to our stadium
I like our chances
Yes it seems the top ten teams will indeed be the playoff contenders
I just wish I felt a little bit better about our Defense.
(Defense wins Championships).
Joe I don't look at the team like most
I track progress not season stats.....if you look at progress the Vegas people seem to believe like me that we are climbing the mountain quite well.
The D and pass rush are rounding out nicely.....the bad decisions have ended
plug inDarkwa at #1 RB and you havea championship team
we are only lacking a 100 yds per game RB
We also need to dismember a good team- Minnesota and Carolina can be those victims
pity the poor team that face OBJ, Nicks and Harris.....not to mention the amazing Tye
If we had to face that Quattro with our D we might as well forfit

I still think you might be Pat Hanlon .... your enthusiasm is out of it's mind. But, I enjoy it .... : )
Better than listening to the bitches .... blah, blah, blah ...
Honestly???? No Nah!!!!
We are better than them right now
I Understand.....we still have not put a good team away
We will
As far as the longshots go, the Cowboys at 75 to 1 would make the most sense.

What do you know about Nicks that the other 31 teams don't? He was cut by a bad Titans team that opted to carry just 4 receivers instead of keeping Nicks. He's been to Tuesday tryouts all over the country the past 9 weeks with no takers. And that has you drooling? C'mon...I love Nicks but the probability of him suddenly rounding into his old form is infinitesimal.
And I'm not even going to touch "The Amazing Tye"...

Ive already responded to this
Nicks was healthy last year and had a very good year playing limited downs....why didn't the other 31 teams pick up Tye??
Nicks will shock you and the world.....how can you stop OBJ, Nicks, Harris, and Tye (maybe Tye needs blocking practice) but as a receiving TE he is impressive
And even our receivers beyond those 4 are contributing nicely
