There is an MSG ap

It's Garnett-like almost.
For the first time since the trade
bceagle05 : 11/21/2015 8:26 pm : link
I'm actually missing JR Smith....Jason Terry looks like he could use another elbow to the face.
So that was an offensive foul for melo but not for Harrell?
PhiPsi125 : 11/21/2015 8:31 pm : link
And Harrell's was way worse than Melos was. Unbelievable. This really isn't that difficult to call.
I wonder how many times

we have to get destroyed on the boards before Fisher ends the Cold War with Kyle O'Quinn?

I agree. With Seraphin at center, there's no interior d or rebounding.
16-14
SethFromAstoria : 11/21/2015 8:45 pm : link
may not really qualify as "Destroyed on the boards".

I don't even know what a legal screen is anymore
PhiPsi125 : 11/21/2015 8:53 pm : link
Apparently in today's NBA, you can stick your rear out and just blatantly move around to block a player...until the ref decides to call one at the time of their choosing.

There would be more consistency if they just let guys call their own fouls.
Or, rather , I should say that I don't know what
PhiPsi125 : 11/21/2015 8:56 pm : link
an ILLEGAL screen is nowadays. Apparently they are all legal. Even when they move.
We're in the
Deej : 11/21/2015 8:58 pm : link
"Save the Rockets' Season" phase of the officiating
LOL, I knew that the Knicks would get called for a moving screen
PhiPsi125 : 11/21/2015 9:00 pm : link
THE ROCKETS HAVE BEEN MOVING ON THEIR SCREENS THE WHOLE DAMN GAME!!!!

Fucking NBA officiating at its finest. Again.
That last screen against Calderon
Deej : 11/21/2015 9:01 pm : link
was just a two handed shove.

Yup, I saw that too. I'm gonna lose my shit. TWICE I've seen a rocket player actually follow a knick on their screen. Not just lean into it or stick out their rear (which they've done all game) but move their feet and follow the player to screen. And then you have that two handed shove. Holy hell.
Wow RoLo

I was coming on here to say the same thing. He's the Knicks version of Odell. I just pray he keeps developing. If so he's going to be really good in 3 or 4 years. Like All NBA good. His shot is a thing of beauty, good defender & rebounder. Great length & athleticism/coordination for a guy his size. He also seems to have great basketball IQ. I would not be surprised to see people say he is a top 3-5 player in the entire NBA once he fully develops.
ANother sigm
SethFromAstoria : 11/21/2015 9:20 pm : link
of Zingis' basketball IQ and ability to learn quickly in the league is that if you remember early in the year, he had quick fouls and had to sit in the 4th a alot. Well in his last six games he's had:

3, 2, 1, 4, 2, 1 and zero at the half today.

DUde is going to be one of the best. Let's be honest

I never really thought he had a problem with fouling. Many of the fouls in his early games were ticky tack stuff or just nonexistent altogether. That just couldn't keep up. He's always been a pretty smart player. The refs willingness to stop screwing KP is what's allowed him to play more.
I am most impressed with his defense
robbieballs2003 : 11/21/2015 9:26 pm : link
You can see that he understands the game with his help defense.
What I loved is that KP was the only knick to chase down
PhiPsi125 : 11/21/2015 9:27 pm : link
Harden on his fast break early in the game. The dude plays hard.
I am trying to remain cautiously optimistic
Jay on the Island : 11/21/2015 9:30 pm : link
with KP but I can't fault any fans for getting excited over his potential. I don't know if anyone can honestly say that they thought he would be this good so early on.
Nice timeout by Fisher.
bceagle05 : 11/21/2015 9:33 pm : link
Sluggish start this half on the defensive end.
The bank is open on a Saturday night for the Porz!
Stu11 : 11/21/2015 9:33 pm : link
That was sweet.
sky hook off the backboard
robbieballs2003 : 11/21/2015 9:33 pm : link
That was beautiful.
KP is showing the full arsenal tonight.

His offensive repertoire is really good
Big Rick in FL : 11/21/2015 9:37 pm : link
For a guy who most said would take a few years to develop. Once he stops thinking and just let's it fly he's going to shoot a good %. Got a good mid range game, can shoot the 3, turn arounds, bank shots, hook shots etc etc. I am only 26 so I never really saw Ewing in his prime. KP is the most exciting Knicks player I think I've ever seen.
First team foul on the Rockets
bceagle05 : 11/21/2015 9:39 pm : link
eight minutes into the quarter. Bullshit.
Great d
Aspano! : 11/21/2015 9:43 pm : link
by Thomas on Harden there. Why the hell is Amundson playing over O'Quinn???
Why is Amundson
Big Rick in FL : 11/21/2015 9:44 pm : link
Ever on the floor in close games? If we are blowing a team out late in the 4th I can see it. He really offers nothing

I'm loving KP, so much potential but he has a long way to go to reach ewings level, lets hope he gets there!
The Amundson/O'Quinn shit is ridiculous.
