Dais' selection and play so far? IMO another dreadful lower-round pick by Reese.
White came from GB so he is familiar with the system. Davis is a physically gifted athlete who is coming from UConn. God forbid him for not stepping in in the first 10 games of his career. When he has been given an opportunity he has played well.
Most draft picks statistically need 2-3 years to contribute in significant fashion.
Geremy was a sixth round pick, I suggest you research how many of them actually turn into the type of player you believe he should be ten games into his NFL career.
I thought Davis was playing well in pre-season and had a few nice grabs so far this year. I don't see him getting great separation, however, he could be a decent move the chain type, who has good hands. Big, strong bodied receiver who looks like he can box out defenders for the ball too. He'll be a nice 4 or 5 type on the depth chart IMO. Reese did a nice job finding him in the 6th round.

should be valued. Outright, gross ignorance ought to be banned. This guy contributes nothing to the board...just a sad loser imposing his frustrations when he has a chance to get some attention.
but the guy wasn't even expected to be drafted so we could have used the pick on someone else and more than likely could have gotten him as an undrafted free agent. So it can be viewed as another reese head scratcher.

no one a crystal ball. You pick who is #1 on your draft board. I think Davis sticks in the NFL he just st isn't going to be a #1
Agree with your assessment of the incompetent Reese
but this is a bit of a reach. He is obviously untouchable and we are all suffering the consequences, including ELI and TC. We could have/ should have done much better these past years.
yep you go by who you like. They thought he was worth a 6th as opposed to viewing him as a prospect that was ranked to go undrafted so we'll see if it was worth it. Hopefully so.
We need WR help randle although dinged up is very sketchy to have to depend on. Beckham needs some help out there.

you have to go by your draft board. Our last two drafts seem solid.
What hurt us this year was losing JPP and Beatty. Flowers is holding his own but a year at RT would have been better.
Terrell Davis were both 6th rd. picks .... just sayin' ... ;)
I think Geremy Davis was trying to crack the starting lineup after Randle started to get gimpy. He's a young player ... who may end up seeing some more time ... and maybe not. I would rather Hakeem Nicks out there (a proven veteran) at this point than Davis. But I don't think he is a flop or a bust at this point.
and rookie. Not expecting much but it is odd that he is on the 53 man roster for a team with little at WR and never sees the field. He must be totally lost as far as the offense goes. Or he sucks at WR and is only on the team for specials or because the FO insisted.
RE: These types of posts are reserved for after Giant losses
Just for fun, here are the ten picks after Geremy Davis. Four of the ten were waived before the season, and two are on IR. Note that Davis has appeared in as many games as the next eight picks combined.
11(187) Redskins - Spencer, Evan WR Ohio St.
Waived/injured by Washington. Signed to the Bucs' practice squad. (His father is their RB coach.)
12(188) Bills - Steward, Tony OLB Clemson
Has dressed for four games as a special teamer. No tackles.
13(189) Browns - Gaines, Charles CB Louisville
Made his first appearance in Cleveland's loss to Pittsburgh, forcing a fumble.
14(190) 49ers - Silberman, Ian OG Boston College
On a team desperate for line help, Silberman hasn't dressed since the opener.
15(191) Eagles - Shepherd, JaCorey CB Kansas
Touted as a steal in camp, Shepherd tore his ACL in August and is on IR.
16(192) Chargers - Philon, Darius DT Arkansas
After appearing in San Diego's first four games, Philon went on IR with a hip injury.
17(193) Vikings (from Chiefs) Dubose, B.J. DE Louisville
Dubose was waived by the Vikings and signed to their practice squad.
18(194) Bills O'Leary, Nick TE Florida St.
O'Leary was waived by the Bills and signed to their practice squad.
19(195) Browns (from Texans) Johnson, Malcolm TE Mississippi St.
Johnson is the Browns' primary fullback. He has caught three passes for fourteen yards.
20(196) Eagles Evans, Randall CB Kansas St.
Evans was waived by the Eagles and signed to their practice squad.
The 197th pick was safety Derron Smith. He hasn't done anything in Cincinnati, but he was a well-regarded prospect at a position of pre-Draft need for the Giants. By round six, however, the Giants had already picked Collins and Thompson, and they had Berhe, Jackson and Taylor returning. So drafting another young safety wasn't a realistic option, even if they liked Smith.

Put my drill sergeant in a headlock and made him tap, you?
jackass
Myles White already had 2 years learning a similar offense
What a terrible post
Steve, why don't you go ahead and post all the amazing middle round picks consistently made by a better GM. Go ahead, we'll wait
Link - ( New Window )
1) no longer with the Giants
2) on another team
3) out of the league
I give the creativity a low mark.
IIRC there was talk on BBI that he was a "bust," too.

That's nothing Beckham was called a bust too because he hurt himself and did not smile on the bench. True story.

Didn't you hear? Giants lost to BYE today
Yes because we all want our 6th round picks to be Tom Brady in their rookie season.....so you are correct that person is a dipshit.

And not in game during a bye. Yeesh.

So far he has been just that. Anything above that expectation is gravy.
I'm sorry but this is an awful thread. Think about it.
