I just saw them in concert in Sept....it was during the blood moon eclipse!! Fucking awesome show...as the blood moon happened!! Dave stopped the concert mid show and had all the lights turned off....then he says, "over my 20+ years of doing rock shows I've done some cool shit, but nothing as bad ass as this!!! Rock and Roll to a Blood Moon!!! EPIC SHIT!!"
Then they played Bad Moon Rising by CCR....Honestly, just the music was amazing, but with the eclipse, that was easily the best concert I've personally experienced...still gives me chills now!!
right now. Studio stuff has gone down hill a bit over the last few albums but no one can touch them live. I was at the July 4 show at RFK. The whole day was amazing.

That is way cool. What a great story. The July 4 show I saw was the first with the "throne" and included Trombone Shorty, Gary Clark, Heart, LL Cool J, Buddy Guy and Trouble Funk. Brought my kids (14 year old twins). Their mom took them to NYC for a weekend after that. They still said the Foos was the best day of the summer.
