The Giants," Bradshaw repeated multiple times when asked who the most dangerous .500 team is. "Don't let the Giants into the playoffs. They can win the NFC. … And they're the only team who can beat the New England Patriots."
You mean the guy who said that Coughlin is a horrible coach and he would never play for such a guy and nobody will want to play for the Giants? That Bradshaw?

but I think he's overstating things. Lots of teams can beat New England, based on what I saw last night.
As for the other part, hopefully, there's enough institutional memory, between Eli, Coughlin, and JPP to convince the others that we have enough game to pull this miracle off a third time.
if the Giants somehow find a way to 9 wins and they win the east, would anyone here feel like they can't win the home WC game? Let's say they play ATL or even Seattle or the Vikings or Packers here in Jersey. We can't win that game? If they win that they travel to GB or Carolina or Zona...Zona actually scares me I think we'd have a really tough time matvhing up with them but the Giants can't win in GB or Carolina? Sure they can.
We just ave to find a way to beat the Skins. Something this franchise has done so many times over the years save for 2012. When they really need a win against the Skins they get it. They need to do it again on Sunday. Get that win and the formula takes shape--get to 8-7 hosting Philly and let's roll...
We don't have to beat a single powerhouse here over the next 6. Just take care of business and we are hosting a playoff game and Eli Beckham, JPP and Coughlin leading the charge. Anyone want to fuck with that group in January? I wouldn't.
Gotta close this thing out and let everyone complain how lucky the Giants got this year. LEt Francessa talk about how the East was gifted to the Giants this year. Have at it...and then the NFL can blink and watch the Giants show up in the NFC Title game if they aren't careful.
if they were getting back Cruz, Beatty and Beason....not to mention big Hank, but now...not so much, especially with the Pugh/Richburg issues.
We've been beat up a bit but as of now the very best players on this team are healthy save for Rich and Pugh and we don't know how long they are even out. They could play sunday and if they don't oh well...win this thing. On paper the Giants are the best team in the East and it isn't even close. GEt it done...
about the Pats being beatable based on what you saw last night doesn't seem right to me. The Pats beat an angry Bills team, a team that wants to beat them more than anything, while being without a couple of Offensive linemen, their best defensive player, their best weapon out of the backfield, their best weapon at WR (then lost their next best one during the game)and basically playing with next to nothing at WR for most of the fourth quarter.
The Pats win despite all of that shouldn't prove they are beatable but instead prove just how tough it is to beat them no matter the circumstance.
Getting to the playoffs is the hard part. Once you're in the playoffs, anything can happen. Despite injuries and the talent on this team, if the Giants can just get to the playoffs I think they'll make some noise. Even possibly win the whole thing.
Terry, Ahmad, Andrew, Michael, Jessie, Jermaine, Tito Â

STOP IT WITH BEASON. Guy has done nothing to prove in the last 2 years that he's even an average player anymore. Would much rather have Brinkley than Beason at this point.

Ha...kinda worked up eh? Look, Beason has been hurt his entire time with the Giants but to think Brinkley is better than a healthy Beason is just wrong. I love what Brinkley is bringing and, of course you, me and every other Giants fan would prefer him at this point but healthy and in their prime...c'mon now. Beason can't stay on the field and his athleticism has been limited due to injuries...it is what it is but don't tell me Brinkley is better than a healthy Beason from a few years back.

They are very beatable. But here's the problem.
Down by 10 with about four minutes left and just one time out, you are still huddling up and running the ball.
Then, you get the ball back with no timeouts, and proceed to throw checkdowns.......wasting valuable time. Furthermore, you don't have two plays called, wasting more time.
The QB and coaching in this league is just unreal sometimes.
I am not thinking of what could happen in the postseason. And I don't think we really have the horses to make a very very deep run but that's getting way ahead of things anyway. All I want is an NFC East title. I want to end the playoff drought. Let's just beat the Skins first and go from there.
Bradshaw's a good guy who has been more on the mark than not, imo..He suffers fron severe depression and was classy enough to share it with the world..I respect him a great deal and rarely allowed his on air buffoonery to bother me

Did not know about his depression part. Sorry to hear that if true. Only seen his persona on TV pregame and etc..He did have a radio spot about a year ago on WFAN with Joe and Evan. He seemed to be a jovial guy (at least in public) and make non serious comments about things. I'm sure he's a nice guy in person, but he comes across as one to make comments that can't be taken seriously.
Sure!
Why not but much must improve starting with the pass rush. If JPP and the system Spags has begins to gel hey who knows right?
If the running game kicks in with Dwarka that will help Eli much!
If we stay healthy and the competition doesn't we could surprise as well.
Like 2007, we need the youth to step up. Guys like TE Tye, DT Bromley, S Collins and PT Flowers need to play like vets and surprise with improve play post-bye.
The formula of pass rush, run game, health and youth stepping up is from 2007. Can we have magic twice? Let's hope so!

He's a bit of a hypocrite...He has been candid about how much the fans and the media bothered him when he was playing. It bothered him when they'd mock his intelligence, etc...Yet, during the pre and post game shows he's done the same thing to Eli making fun of his faces and awww shucks attitude.

Perhaps, I haven't watched the pre-game circuses for ages, but he's always been an Eli supporter, always believed in his abilities, iirc
Haha, dammit. I didn't click the link. Terry Bradshaw, I am less enthused about.
Yes Terry, not Ahmad..
Many people have changed their opinions on TC
so I disagree about the Giants being the only team who can beat the Patriots.
In retrospect, I guess it would have been weird for reporters to ask Ahmad anything about the Giants.
As for the other part, hopefully, there's enough institutional memory, between Eli, Coughlin, and JPP to convince the others that we have enough game to pull this miracle off a third time.

My take was that we're the only team that can beat them when it counts, in SB

is out I wouldn't be surprised to see Denver beat the Patriots this weekend in Denver.

I see. no argument there.

As for Ahmad Bradshaw
you would never see an NFL player openly root for another NFL team
would be career suicide
so I disagree about the Giants being the only team who can beat the Patriots.
Totally agree, because Denver will play even better defense than the Bills did, esp being at home.
NE is leaking oil.......if they don't get their WRs back and/or that OL continues to struggle, they will be very vulnerable come playoffs.
He is feeling guilty ... or haunted(?)
HOWEVER - He is right!
Mike- "Lets see if they can win the Division"
LOL Hilarious....Mike only wants to hear about his Cowboys
Mike Mike you have a better chance of winning the lottery than your Cowboys winning the SB in your lifetime
We have room to improve
We can get better on D, we are getting better
We need to improve our running game
IMHO that means play Darkwa
