Frank Zappa...really miss that guy, musical brilliance and intelligence about life in general. He would have a field day with some of the buffoons that have lead us to where we are right now.
I agree, as long as you make believe that Steve Marriott never existed.
Damn forgot about Marriott, he was the real deal. He was so good that when the original zeppelin made inquiries about him, they threatened Page with a beating. Also some interesting mob ties (Sharon Osbourn's dad) to Humble Pie and Peter Frampton (Frampton comes alive) in which both acts were ripped off to the tune of millions.
Not sure I've ever been that amused, apalled and nostalgic hearing a band for the first time.
Check them out. But not if you don't like spandex, hairspray, parody and misogyny.
Michael Starr (lead singer of Steel Panther) is going to sing for the Eat'em and Smile band tonight in Hollywood.. I wish I was out there!!!
Vai
Sheehan
Bissonette
and Starr
I'm not sure if they're doing Eat'em and Smile cover to cover, or will do more..eitherway, I'm sure they'll rock Shy Boy!
micheal jackson
buddy holly
Yes. I wonder what he wouldn't have sounded like during the post-bop period? He still would have been relatively young at that point.
shit.. I can hardly get my head around his music NOW..nevermind if he evolved more. Jeez
I would've loved to hear what Jaco could've done (if there were anti-depressants back then).. asshole bouncer.
