Don't expect to see Spiderman in any of the trailers. I think Marvel is either going to give him the Luke Skywalker treatment in the force awakens trailers or just give one quick shot of him like they did with Vision in the Age of Ultron trailers.
Not only the best Marvel film to date but one of the best films I've ever seen. Amazing suspenseful spy thriller that was non stop from start to finish.
But it doesn't really change my hype for this movie. Winter Solider was so great, can't wait for this one.
Also, love that they are bringing Thunderbolt Ross out of the MCU moth balls. He's been gone since Incredible Hulk, I wonder if he'll have a bigger role going forward?

Yeah I like the inclusion of Ross again. There are quite a few rumors about him because it seems odd they would bring him back just for a small role. One of the main rumors is he becomes the Red-Hulk but I don't really believe that.
It looks a lot more even keeled than the comics story did. In the comics, Tony Stark goes full fucking Hitler, like for no reason. To the point where even The Punisher was like, maybe you should slow down and think about this.
these are all better than Avengers. I'm generally down on comic book movies but the smaller focused movies without going in space are just far better. They feel more real, the story is more specific, the action is better.
This looks like a really top notch action film with a comic book backdrop which is a good thing. Avengers just feels forced and crammed to many characters on 1 screen. CA and Iron Man scenes were the only ones I liked in Avengers.
Did you like Ant-Man? I actually saw it twice... was really into the way they did the action scaling in real-time.
Yeah I went into Ant-Man with the lowest of expectations but I was just really impressed with the way they made Ant-Man seem formidable. His set of skills would really be extremely useful going forward. I am concerned that maybe the movie was so good was because Edgar Wright worked on it for years and wrote almost all of it before he was let go. I just hope the current director has the same success with the sequel.
Avengers stories are always meant to be more sweeping and grand
But they can also be unfocused at times. It's tough to put together a solid 2-hour movie with so many characters that need screen time.
You're right it is damn near impossible to fit all these characters into one movie and have it be incredible. This is why Infinity Wars was split into 2 parts as I expect them to leave out quite a few characters in the first film and have all the surviving characters on hand for the final epic battle.
when it came out in 2006 ,Crossbones should be in this movie alot and i would love to see the Thunderbolts but i doubt it .Xmen also had a big part in it along with a bunch of villains
Amazon just had a 50% sale off graphic novels a couple weeks ago so I picked up Civil War for Kindle. Going to read up on it, but the trailer looks amazing.

Is Panther the Big Bad in this? someone is blowing up lots of shit. And War Machine looks destroyed? Nice that the preview gives a an ass shot of ScarJo.
In September 2015, Mark Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner / Hulk in the MCU films, stated that his character was originally in the Civil War script, but due to the events at the end of Age of Ultron, was removed, as Marvel did not "want to reveal where is he and why" in this film
Curious why they removed the Hulk from this film and what future plans they might have for him. Possible Planet Hulk\World War Hulk film for Phase 4?

Civil War would be a perfect launching point for that entire story line. Seems strange to take him out of it.
but was not a huger or religious comic reader as a kid. So, I am not familiar with the Bucky/Winter Soldier story line other than these movies. I am interested to see them explain how he remembers his past. What is the comic story line for this?

and is allegedly going to spent time on planets besides earth and Asgard I am assuming the ending will set up for Planet Hulk.
As to the question about Black Panther he is not the bad guy. Rumors are that he is out searching for Bucky who may have been responsible for the death of his father. Another rumor states that after Ultron almost destroyed the earth with Vibranium that Claw stole from Wakanda Panther realizes Wakanda can no longer stay isolated from the rest of the world and he must do his part in protecting it. He is on Iron Man's side.
You didn't miss much.
Civil War is gonna be awesome! THe Russo bros know what they're doing.
You mean the best Marvel film to date?!

Man, you're missing out. Get on that.

And maybe lead into Gaurdians.

No. He was in the AntMan end credit scene

I don't get how that could credibly be presented as a fair fight.
