and I dont want to overstate it, is that more talented scorers are appropriately moving the ball, and then less talented scorers like KOQ, Thomas, and Lopez are ball stopping. Irrational confidence in their own shooting ability (and in Lopez's case, post moves). If you let that set in, eventually what happens is that guys like Galloway and Afflalo will stop moving the ball to these guys, and then you have no offense at all.
come on people. DO you realize how many 9 point leads, how many quarters, how many minutes, how many games you will hae to wait for your wish to come true? Months. Many many months.
THey are shooting 22% and 1 of 6 from 3. GOing to need some better analysis from you guys if they are shooting that poorly and are down by 10 than "the coach sucks" every single minute. 16 games into his first season with a basketball team. Easy people, my lordy.
of for Fisher sticking with the 12 man rotation, is that the team is playing above its head. I don't think he expected them to be 8-7 at this juncture, and perhaps he thinks "well, we're doing better than we thought, so it can't be a poor idea."
Although it's pretty obvious that Vujacic and Amundson shouldn't be on the court.
and you had 5 guys playing hero ball all at the same time. Barely any movement on offense - just dudes thinking they'll put in a shot and get the team going again.
So you think it's good coaching to play 12 men in the 1st quarter? Who are the successful coaches who do that?
attacking other posters who don't like to read threads that do exactly as you're saying I do but instead of other posters its a coach.
So you think it's perfectly normal and not remotely annoying or irrational to call for a coach's head over and over and over every time a lead grows larger than 5 points? When his team is shooting at a rate that is beyond bad. Not every shot is a bad idea. They are misses.
I do think it makes sense to play 12 men if you can't find the mix that is successful in the matchups. Take a look at the stats for the half...the bench is 1 for 11 from the floor. The game is literally one team shooting sliiiiiiightly better than the other and both are shooting horribly. Our best player has zero points and is 0-5 and we can't hit a three.
So I don't have a solution for you aside from hoping they can shoot better and get some offense fron the 7'3" difference maker.
It's kind of funny though man...don't you realize that you complain to me, about me, because you don't mind what they are saying. But when I just think it's maybe a bit overzealous to call for coach's heads in this situation because it's a bit overreactive. I mean let's be real here man, its not content to call for firings everyday. My mom does that when they don't shoot well and lose a couple games in a row. SHe doesn;t know what she's saying, it's just "who's in charge of this mess!!? Fire them!" You're very selective in who you aim your response at.
FUnny part of this ia the Rangers and Knicks are playing the same game. M
You suggestion that people are merely responding to bad stats this game is preposterous and once again demonstrates your selective reading. Your justification for a 12 man rotation, which is BY FAR the biggest complaint (and not the score or guys not hitting a shot) is, IMO, the worst opinion on this thread, no matter how snotty you are in delivering it. No team runs a 12 man rotation. There isnt some magic combination that is going to unleash Sweet Lou as an NBA rotation player. It's like a fool who keeps staring at a lottery ticket thinking the numbers are going to change.
we were all good...and unfortunately we have a very different opinion of which one of us is delivering any message in a snotty or worse way. My apologies for being rude to the posters. My apologies for not giving you a satisfactory opinion/reason why the coach is playing a deep rotation today. You've made it quite clear that you think it was a really ignorant and wrong opinion. Baffles me how you think I'm the one coming across in an antagonistic way here. But again, not arguing anymore. Enjoy the games.
Im being snotty to you in response. I never start snotty with you. But when you dish out snotty garbage like "GOing to need some better analysis from you guys" you'll get it from me. Every time dude.
3 blocks for KP
Bring Zinger or Afflalo back now, they are not in foul trouble.
Oh...when I asked that there was a kNicks v Orlando, and a Knicks v Magic thread.
Which ex-teammate's house is he having T'giving dinner at?
This isn't him trying out different things to set up rotations for down the line. This is just his shitty coaching

I'll try not to let it ruin my Thanksgiving.
