that I read the last time an undefeated team was an underdog on Thanksgiving was 1985. The Bears at Dallas. Final score: Bears 44 Cowboys 0.

Just saying....

That is how I see it. The Lions have played better of late and they are home on a short week. The Eagles look like they have internal strife and division all over.

Carolina's defense will show up and keep Romo in check, mostly. Can Dallas stop the Carolina run game? I don't think so.

Lions 24-23 over eagles.
carolina 27-24 over Dallas
denver 17-16 over Pats.
Can't read too much into this.
j_rud : 11/25/2015 11:40 pm : link
How many Thanksgiving games has Chip Kelly coached or won? How many players on the Eagles current roster were around for any of those Thanksgiving day wins? When was the last time the Panthers were a good team when they took the field against Dallas?

Some stats are very telling. Others, especially these long term stats that cover 5+ years, are nothing more than conversation pieces and tools for bookies to hook bad gamblers into poor bets.

I'd like to say we're due for a break in those trends, but I felt the same way when someone posted a stat about the Giants versus the Eagles on Monday night games. Ughh.
Fuck the Eagles...

That line screams Dallas win to me.
Two sinking ships about to collide.

Hope the Eagles go to the bottom.
Can't see the lions getting a win

I watched them at Wembley a couple of weeks ago, and they were appalling! Think the Eagles will go 7-0 on thanksgiving after today.

You obviously didn't see the Tampa Game last week. Plus all the chip Kelly leaving /losing the team talk could have a huge impact as well

Was that without Bradford though? Isn't he available this week for them?

Your take on these stats makes sense. But I don t know, for some reason, even in the NFL where every season each franchise has so much turnover, these type if trends tend to hold up.

Hope both don t today.

Bradford would not have prevented then from giving up 5 TD's to a rookie QB.I like the Lions big in this game
Both streaks will continue

today.

Dallas has the parts to expose the Panthers and Detroit will implode against Philly who loves to bully teams weaker then them.

Green Bay vs Chicago should be good though.
Lions have looked much better in recent weeks

Carolina is rolling.

May the eagles and boys have the shittiest of thanksgivings...

Fuck em both

What do you mean by "expose" the Panthers? What's getting exposed?

The love of Dallas around the country is stuff of legend. It's incredible, really. People act like they are the Patriots. Problem is, they've won 2 playoff games in 17 years, and one of them (last years) was a gift from the zebras. But I know I'm fighting a losing battle. I've been saying this for far too long but will never change anyone's mind. Instead, the hype continues to get worse. The more they lose, the better they get, apparently. Fuck Dallas. Go Panthers.
Come on Panther's - put a stake in that

This sounds like the analysis on the NFLN pregame show.

games vs Dallas. They crushed them in the 03-04 playoffs. Plus, they've only met once since the beginning of the 09 season so the history really means absolutely nothing. I can's see Dallas doing much offensively today against the Carolina D and the Carolina O should do enough for a comfortable win. God willing...
Three options.
Big Al : 11/26/2015 11:21 am : link
1. Go with law of averages.

2. Go with the past trend.

3. Go with the thought that options 1 and 2 are actually meaningless and pick the better current team to win.
