With his salary in mind. If he because a full time slot receiver next year does he give up his special team duties.

He might give up gunner duties, for example. He might also be used more selectively on returns. Coughlin is very aware that the season is a marathon, not a sprint. It's one of the reasons his Giant teams have been dangerous in the post-season.
