I used to HATE Romo when he was younger ... had that little smirk that made you just want to smack it off the side of his face.

This is not good news... Dallas will now finish with a record that nets them a top 3 draft pick and they can draft a franchise QB to replace Romo in a couple of years. Hopefully Jerry blows this opportunity and trades for Manziel and uses their first round pick on another position.
A top five pick could be a big deal. More likely, it turns out the way it did after the Eagles tanked in 2012 when Andy Reid was twisting in the wind. Lane Johnson is fine, but he hasn't been a difference maker.

My guess is that they may try to take their pick and not draft a quarterback thinking that if they get a stud defensive player or a running back AND Romo back they can make some noise. The reality is that they should have lost to the Giants with Romo and he played poorly against the Eagles BEFORE the injury.
