but he can't be an everyday enforcer unless we play 7 defensemen. Much easier to have a 4th line forward as the enforcer because going down to 5 defensemen is a disadvantage
Montreal wasn't back breaking - it was a thorough ass kicking. Today was backbreaking just as the Florida choke nearly was a week ago
I honestly don't know what the fuck is up with this bunch the past few weeks. When henrik isn't covering up for sins they look generally terrible. Long season I guess
Their PP goal was just a nice play by a team that's on fire with its PP right now. Fast has to know better.
But their last goal was inexcusable. Was like watching 5on3 for over a minute. Not sure what playoff toll has to do with guys who can't make simple clears or who flub simple outlet passes. And it wasn't just a D issue - forwards aren't effectively winning pucks either. And game winner was from the point
This loss won't count towards that 2nd period lead stat but it was a choke nonetheless
Claude Julien on King Henrik: "I know he does some acting on the side, but he doesn't need to do it on the ice"
I can't stand Julien and Marchand is a complete douche bag so I was happy with the call, but I was going to say Henrik sold that, but I know no one on here would agree.
It was weak ass, but an easy one to call, as Fast kind of wrapped his arms around (mindlessly stupid), but did not really hamper, the Boston player, it was a motionless scrum; and not 90 seconds later a Boston d-man almost literally picks up a Ranger forward behind the Boston net and dumps him over his knee, but no call. And the lead up to the fourth goal the Rangers looked as though they playing the short side of a 5 on 3 the way Bruins were moving the puck, no problem. Staal has difficulty clearing players out in front of the crease.

Shouldn't have even happened. But whatever. Trash bags like Marchand and the chickenhawk Beleskey are in the right place for cheap shotting, dirty bullshit.
...they score on the PP on one of the softest penalties I've seen all year when Fast get whistled for holding with about 3 minutes to go in the game. I've run out of expletives for the NHL refereeing of Rangers games this season. I'm speechless.
I'd have to see a replay but I don't recall thinking he was cross checked, but I also don't recall him impacting the boards in a manner that would fracture ribs .... and I suspect the fractures were the result of a cross check - if so, it had to be pretty damn vicsious.
maybe if the refs called the initial penalty McIlraith might have backed off but probably not.
That's how you stick up for your teammates.

Boyle isn't a Warrior though.

Sorry for letting you down, pj.

winnable game like this one the road, now I need to hear from all the douche bag Bruins fans.

Well, it's not entirely your fault.

No, I agree. Henrik definitely sells a bit.
Happy thanksgiving!
And the Bruins get a goal out of it.
Unbelievably bad job by the two blind mice and the ref from Boston. Fucking brutal.
Lundquist can't save the Rangers every game.
Thankfully the Rangers own the Caps when they play each other.
Your obsession with the Caps is more than a little weird.
Anyway....Henrik sold the call, but it wasn't a flop. Marchand did in fact knee him in the head. Julien is such a fucking turd-looking motherfucker.
