14 of the most productive days for the Giants

without even taking the field! It's almost surreal since that Patriots loss in the final seconds.

-Cowboys won a game to get their 3rd win, then lost a game on National TV that they were basically never in, in addition to losing Romo for the rest of the season.

-Eagles gave up back-to-back 45 points for the first time in team history while going 0-2 to fall to 4-6

-Redskins getting creamed in their last game making their record 4-6

All of which happened while the Giants did not even take the field! I can not remember a more memorable productive 14 days while not even playing a single game. But now is the time to make good on all of the stars lining up just right for the Giants! This is probably the most important regular season game the Giants have played in 3-4 years! Win and they open up a chance for a fun ending to the finish line; Lose and all they've done is erase these good fortunes of the past 14 days and bring the Redskins and Eagles back to the pack. As a fan I can't remember a game as important as this one. I hope they come through!

read all the pre-season, Eagles and Cows stuff. Had to stop and think, is this a totally lost season, or should I watch and see how it goes. Game 1 Cows, ohhhh my, could have had them. Game 2, tank. But good ol Skins, gonna lose their name and never win again, thank you, Game 3. Yeah, should watch, could be back and forth. Like 07, read on BBI how hopeless and how much we stink, but we can score once in awhile, and have been showing amazing spunk. Tough losses, ok, next week will be better. And it usually is. Ho-ly, we can beat 9-0 NE. Other east teams are passively waiting for us to assert ourselves. Thanks Igs, thanks America's losers, get ready to lose your skin, Skins. Reminds me of 2007, 11. 7, 11, 15.

It puts them in a tie with Washington, and Washington will be 2-1 in the division, while the Giants will be 2-3, giving Washington the tie breaker at the moment.....

So yes, the pressure is all on the Giants, with the gift they were given on Thanksgiving....

A win, gives them the cushion they need....a loss, and they have lost control of their destiny....the 'Skins certainly have an easier schedule than the Giants....

TC coached teams have not done well in games where theycould put someone away. Much better in games when they wold be eliminated with a loss.

We do not have a lead in the division UNLESS WE win this game. Its scary to hear people talk like we do,

If we lose to the skins we basically have to go 4-1 to win the division. We would likely lose tiebreakers at 8-8

While my memory is fading with age I do recall that the Giants have lost several "win and in" games over the past five seasons. TC has done well enough that there is no need to embellish his record.

and yes 2007 and 2011 were great jobs by TC and the rest of the staff.
