I turn my back to the wind
To catch my breath
Before I start off again.
Driven on without a moment to spend
To pass an evening with a drink and a friend
I let my skin get too thin
I'd like to pause
No matter what I pretend
Like some pilgrim
Who learns to transcend
Learns to live as if each step was the end
(Time stand still)
I'm not looking back
But I want to look around me now
(Time stand still)
See more of the people and the places that surround me now
Freeze this moment a little bit longer
Make each sensation a little bit stronger
Experience slips away
Experience slips away
I turn my face to the sun
Close my eyes
Let my defences down
All those wounds that I can't get unwound
I let my past go too fast
No time to pause
If I could slow it all down
Like some captain, whose ship runs aground
I can wait until the tide comes around
(Time stand still)
I'm not looking back
But I want to look around me now
(Time stand still)
See more of the people and the places that surround me now
Freeze this moment a little bit longer
Make each impression a little bit stronger
Freeze this motion a little bit longer
The innocence slips away
The innocence slips away...
Summer's going fast, nights growing colder
Children growing up, old friends growing older
Freeze this moment a little bit longer
Make each sensation a little bit stronger
Experience slips away
Experience slips away...
The innocence slips away
To our boy Pganut. Lets go Islanders. Stromer is back.
Maybe he heard me whining?
Let's go islanders!!
2-2 wooo!!
He almost didn't shoot it.
I haven't seen the replay but I agree totally with your first part. He waited so long... Whether or not it was a shot, he passed up on the best opportunity he had. I'll take the bounce :)
Sick of it. Bailey fumbling bumbling
He reminds me a lot of Corey Crawford and their numbers are almost identical for their careers. I look at a guy like Crawford who has multiple rings and I think we can do it with Halak.... but I do ultimately agree with you. There's just something I can't put my finger on, but I'm not sold on the guy in a big game yet.

I like the guy but I always have this gnawing feeling that we need better at the position to really get to next level.

I think after that last year+ with Nabokov playing way below average goaltending, seeing an actual competent guy in there like Halak made him seem better than he actually is. Kind of like when Kerry Collins came to the Giants.

I saw that, too. When he had the "best" chance, he pulled it back and I was screaming. Staple actually thinks he was trying to pass when it went in off Pirri.

The sight of Bailey really makes me vomit. 14 games without a goal? This team needs a shakeup before it's too late.
Talk about regressing. I forgot we were carrying 3 goalies again.
Oh, never mind.
Have you seen the latest Eklund rumor? It's a bit far fetched, plus he's never been right.
lol.. that's a good way of putting it.
