This isn't a thread beating down the defense today. There is plenty of blame to go around. However, what the fuck was with our linebackers playing 5 yards back? It is hard to defend every play but the most immediate threat is a QB sneak so they have to be right behind the DL not five yards back. I just don't get that.
I actually thought the previous play was a TD.
Not so sure. One of the line judges was coming in with a mark at the half yard line. I think if they called no TD the call would have stood.
Don't use logic here. Some don't grasp the concept.

What on that replay made it conclusive that he crossed the goal line? Even the announcers said that it would probably stand because it was called a TD on the field. But the ruling suggests if it was not ruled a TD on the field, it would have been reversed.
