4th and goal from the 1 inch line

This isn't a thread beating down the defense today. There is plenty of blame to go around. However, what the fuck was with our linebackers playing 5 yards back? It is hard to defend every play but the most immediate threat is a QB sneak so they have to be right behind the DL not five yards back. I just don't get that.

as I did not watch the replay with focus on the other LB's but he almost timed coming over the top perfectly...came up one inch short...but that is why he started that far back to get over the top...

If the Giants were in that spot, there's probably better than a 50/50 chance they'd throw it. We know they don't run sneaks, and on 4th down, would you trust the running game?

You call bs on it? So when they showed the ball cross over the white, you think what? They doctored the footage? Cuz it happened.

Not so sure. One of the line judges was coming in with a mark at the half yard line. I think if they called no TD the call would have stood.

I thought the previous play was not, but didn't think they could reverse it based on the footage. I'm not sure it was definitive enough.

Cousins did everything he could to not get that call, but the ball did cross the line, albeit barely. With that ball in the air and his back to the line, I was surprised nobody swatted at it. But, this is one play they got right on the field and with replay.

I was more surprised that after the replay, they said...

"The ruling on the field is confirmed."

What on that replay made it conclusive that he crossed the goal line? Even the announcers said that it would probably stand because it was called a TD on the field. But the ruling suggests if it was not ruled a TD on the field, it would have been reversed.
