Get an experienced WR next year please

DavidinBMNY : 11/29/2015 6:21 pm
Please can I have an experienced, durable possession type WR, in the mold of Larry Fitz, Boldin, Steve Smith Sr (or the one we had), or Toomer later in his career? Someone who reliably will be open , run good routes and not have to get pulled out of the game for stupid things. Pretty please????
I know this team has a ton of needs

but a #2 receiver should be high up on the list.
You trust Reese to do anything right in free agency?

Good luck.
I want sanu

Can play the slot or outside...
what most should fear is the following
mdc1 : 11/29/2015 6:50 pm : link
he may need to start doubling down on intense playmakers now as the ship has left the docks in that the MAJOR rebuild (oline, dline, linebacker, safety, TE) should have happened long ago. Now he has to win to avoid the reaper that will likely come calling soon.

Is he a FA next year? Cause if so, then YES! Sanu would be a great fit.

well he went and got Vereen, made a strong play for McCourty, and signed Harris. So yes, I still do trust him.
Yes we should be in good shape
The_Boss : 11/29/2015 7:07 pm : link
Cap wise. By all estimations, we should have between $50-$70 million free. But, when you have (at first glance off the roster section) 26 players whose contracts are up after this year and either need to be replaced or resigned, that $$ is going to be used up rather quickly.

Vereen is a fine third down back currently used as 1/4 of a RBBC. And I do agree about Harris, good talent, shame we don;t have better blocking for him to do more with the ball on returns.

Yes I believe so
#2 WR,
Dave in Hoboken : 11/29/2015 7:24 pm : link
DE, DT, LB, TE. Can we have an actual legitimate NFL LB and TE, please? I'm not asking for All-Pro's, but can we have something better than what we've had at those two positions for quite awhile now?

Well, that would be a nice addition. I think he is a good player who is a little underutilized on the Bengals because they have so many offensive weapons.

I think Tye is a good fit as the pass catching TE, but they need a complete TE or a new Fells.
We have no O-line
EricJ : 11/29/2015 7:46 pm : link
and you guys want a WR or a TE?
Randle makes that catch in end zone by running a good route
DavidinBMNY : 11/29/2015 10:03 pm : link
We may have won. So yes.
I don't care if the 2nd, 3rd and 4th WRs are experienced.
81_Great_Dane : 11/29/2015 10:15 pm : link
Just as long as they're good. Or good enough. Which this group doesn't quite appear to be.

Randle is either hurt or... something.

Harris isn't bad, but he's not good enough to make up for Randle's issues... whatever they are.

Nicks, well, I will be thrilled but shocked if Nicks is ever an important player for the Giants again.

Myles White? Geremy Davis? Who can tell?

If they get Victor Cruz back at anything close to what he was before, and if Davis develops, that'd be a nice start for 2016, I guess.
at this point

I would take a Nate Washington, pierre Garcon, doug Baldwin type player. Someone to compliment obj that runs routes correctly and can move the chains
I'm not worried about 'experience' only talent
Torrag : 11/30/2015 12:36 am : link
Rookie WR's can have an impact and OBJ needs some help out there. Get it wherever you need to just get it.
Sanu
JPinstripes : 11/30/2015 6:06 am : link
would be a nice WCO fit.
