SNF: New England vs Denver

giantgiantfan : 11/29/2015 8:24 pm
Its nice when the Giants have the early game, cause I get over any loss by the Sunday night game generally. A good Steelers/Seahawks game helped as well.

I think Denver takes this game, who you got?

I think Denver's D
Osi Osi Osi OyOyOy : 11/29/2015 8:35 pm : link
is going to give the Pats some problems. Brady is the best there is but getting pressure on him is the best way to beat him, and the Broncos have the best pass rush in the sport.

Combined with the fact that the Pats are just due an L, my gut is leaning towards the Broncos tonight.

But this could also be Brady's chance to cement his MVP case. Sucks that Peyton isn't apart of this but it should still be a good one.

don't the Patriots know you're not supposed to play well if you have injuries?

Actually, Buffalo played pretty well against Brady last week by rushing 3 and filling in the passing lanes. It was a different approach and could have exposed a possible way to defend Brady. Pressure has never worked, Brady's release is too quick, you might get to him occasionally but he'll beat the bull rush or the blitz most of the time.

Personally, I think the way you beat NE is to piss Brady off, make him uncomfortable. Hit him every time you get close, not to draw a penalty but knock him down as often as possible.
why don't we ever get those good

why didnt we sign scott chandler?
mattlawson : 11/29/2015 9:26 pm : link
i mean all the guy does is catch TDs... and yes I know he was briefly with us.
Incredible how many injuries the Pats have as well,
prdave73 : 11/29/2015 9:30 pm : link
But somehow manage to game plan well enough to make one of the best defense in the league look bad?! They just coach and gameplan to well.. Belichick is a freak. The NFL lacks good coaches..

Hell, I would have taken Owen Daniels. Both these teams leave me wanting. The Giants just do not have the talent!

No mystery why Pats are better on defense -- Investment is there. Five 1st-round picks 28-and-under, with at least 1 in each unit.

Why in the world
Cruzin : 11/29/2015 9:50 pm : link
Wouldn't Denver call a TO right away and force NE to punt in the bad weather? They wasted 30 seconds until they decided. Now Brady's just gonna kill it. Stupid.

Part of my dream offseason was getting Chandler. He is better than Donnell, Fells, Tye and Cunningham put together...oh and he can block.

The Gronk appears

to be in some serious pain. I hope thats not bad.

Demaryius Thomas

is having one of the worst games I've ever seen a "superstar" WR have.

0 catches on 11 targets... and visually his performance has matched the statline

Epic no show
Gronk is the best TE ever

Was jsut about to post this. Your on your game tonight Osi.
Gronk was moving it, walking on it
SHO'NUFF : 11/29/2015 11:31 pm : link
the fact that it was in the air and not planted in the ground might be the saving grace...

Thomas with a Randle-esque performance. Not coming back for the ball, no fight. I would be pissed as a Broncos fan.
im still confusd
MookGiants : 11/29/2015 11:33 pm : link
as to why the Broncos kicked a field goal down 7 with 6 minutes to go 4th and goal from the 3.

You still need a touchdown. Go for it there. If you don't get it, you still need a touchdown if you get the ball back.

Maybe it will work out, but it doesnt mean it was the correct decision.

Got wonder if not running a play before the 2MW will come back

they have plenty of time

Ehh after he got back in he dropped the first ball to him. Dont worry we will shit on him all year and he will continue to make shitty plays.
and then
dep026 : 11/29/2015 11:37 pm : link
he drops an easy one.
Fantastic - now in business
glowrider : 11/29/2015 11:39 pm : link
I know it was plenty of time, but they didn't have any time outs. Thought you had an opportunity to run the ball if you wanted one more time
And there he should've stayed in bounds, Oy!
glowrider : 11/29/2015 11:39 pm : link
.
stupid play call
dep026 : 11/29/2015 11:39 pm : link
running it with QB and he goes out of bounds. Wasted play.

ticky tack def holding call leads to a TD pass
SHO'NUFF : 11/29/2015 11:42 pm : link
but 1st and goal, why pass it? TB has enough time still for a field goal. we've seen this movie before.

Want the Broncos, but that was questionable
Guess I'm in the minority
Sonic Youth : 11/29/2015 11:42 pm : link
but I like seeing Brady and the Pats win. History will look down on the Giants more favorably if the Patriots beat everyone else for a long period of time.

score first, worry about stopping them later. Its no gimmie you score on 2nd, 3rd, or 4th down.
Patriots always given gifts
