Today was as frustrating as it gets but we still have a division and relevant football to look forward too despite all our flaws.
The first thing I want to address is the false narrative of tiebreaker that was discussed on broadcast today. The skins have it now as they are 2 and 1 in Division while we are 2 and 3 in division. Skins have tiebreaker now. Not necessarily true going forward.
If skins and giants both finish 3 and 3 in division giants win tiebreaker. Now gits true the Cowboys have no romo and the Eagles are a mess but so are the skins on the road where they haven't won this season. Also it's difficult to see the skins beating the boys twice in five weeks. Below is a scenario where giants win division at 8 and 8.
Skins schedule puts them 8 and 8
Boys win
@Bears win
Bills win
@eagles loss
@Boys loss
Giants schedule puts them 8 and 8
Jets win
@Dolphins win
Panthers loss
@vikings loss
Eagles win
Giants win division. I actually think we could do better and they could do worse well see. I just really wanted to illustrate how we could still very well win a tiebreaker w skins. Comment away
The key moving forward is obvious. How successful we are will depend on who is coming back on the OL..
It was what we need more of around here..Most of what we discuss is speculative or predictive..It's laid out nicely for discussion..
Would you prefer to read the same idiotic Reese Sucks or TC must go threads?

It's hard enough to pick one game yet posters on here play out scenarios where they pick 10.

You really think that anyone who believes either or both should be replaced is an idiot? It's that clear cut to you?

You miss the point....They can say whatever they want, but give fucking reasons why they should go or why a player sucks..Making the same repeated statements over and over with little to know rationale is lazy and stupid..And please don't use the oft repeated cop out of "isn't it obvious?" People who make statements with reasons are mothing more than board clutter
Tie breakers are:
1. Head to head (a tie here)
2. Division record (tie under this scenario)
3. Common opponents record (applicable here, gives the Giants the edge)
4. Conference record
So Yahoo looks correct to me.
The specific scenario you give goes to NYG. So Yahoo is right about that. What the OP has is a general statement that if both teams finish 3-3 in division then tiebreak will go to NYG. I'm just pointing out that there are scenarios where that is not the case.
However, if the Giants literally sell-out to stop the run and force Fitzpatrick to beat them over the top, Giants can win, perhaps even handily.
Use the non-NFL-starter arm which Fitzpatrick possesses against the Jets.
That means a lot of 8 in the box, no soft coverage short, and keep pushing the pocket so that RF cannot look like a javelin thrower making long passes.
The wildcard in this is the progress of the 2 physically very talented but raw Jet WRs - Smith and Eunwa. If DRC and Prince are healthy, they match up pretty well with Marshall and Decker, but then the Giants start to run out of NFL CBs who belong on the field.
