As one of the biggest anti-Randle guy here, I find it interesting that in one of his last regular games possibly, RR comes into possibly a must win game as the lead guy. He has a strung together a few decent games in a row, and now will become the focal point of the offense.
if he breaks out, can he possibly retain a spot on the Giants next year. Would anyone be that shocked if he turns in a 7 catch 140 yards with 2 TDs?
Who do you think would be a viable replacement that more than likely won't be re-signed by their teams? I just hayte doling out big dollars to WR FAs..

Randle isn't it. There are some very good options in free agency. Players that are clearly more athletic, explosive and productive than RR. We have the cap room to make a move in this area as well as several others comfortably. He had his chance and wasn't good enough.

WR imo is a good position to acquire talent on the open market. Scheme and fit have little to do with their success. They regularly swap jerseys and have success for their new teams.
You're probably familiar with the names available but here are a few. Jeffreys(true #1 probably too expensive), Benjamin, Mathews, Crabtree and possibly Megatron if a restructure cannot be arranged. Marvin Jones, Sanu and Kearse are in the next tier.

I would have definite interest in Jeffery(is he a FA to be?) and Sanu..The others? Would have to be a reasonable contract..
I could live with that as well. It depends on how they view Harris moving forward and whether the difference TB might make would be worth the bucks

Then the Giants should go get Travis Benjamin as he is a dynamic slot receiver stuck in Cleveland. He and OBJ on the same field would be a DCs nightmare.

Yes, good point.
I laughed.
Awful draft pick, awful receiver, awful team player.
