then yes, everybody will be playing. I want to do everything possible to encourage Fisher to leave Galloway as the starter, and push Calderon further and further back. No, Galloway isn't a true PG, but in this system, especially with Melo taking a bigger role in passing, I would much rather have the guy who can keep up with speed on the other teams, play D, and attack the rim--and still get almost as many assists as Calderon.
I guess there isn't a case yet for using Grant over Calderon, but it's getting close. The question then is who becomes the back-up two.
calderon should really not see the floor. When he was younger his offense covered his defensive issues. Now, he isn't the scorer he used to be and his defense is trash. Galloway at least can play defense and knock down the 3 at a higher clip than jose.
I actually thought the Warriors would lose this one, with it being the second game of a back-to-back. But the Warriors almost losing to the Sixers doesn't bode well for the Knicks.
not trying to have any arguments tonight but what makes you say something like this when it's not true and all you gotta do is watch the games and look at his game log to see that it's not. I mean he pretty much worked with Melo to win the game for us last game. I don't get it.

Aaron Afflalo 0-6 at halftime. He was also 6-21 against OKC.

I didn't say he's playing well today, nor did he play well every game this year....did your reply mean to explain how it's been a regular occurrence because he's had a handful of shitty shooting nights? He's not a great player, not going to be great or even good every night. But he's actually been very good more often than not, and he has a handful of bad shooting nights but even last game he teamed with Melo to lead the team to a win.
I just don't really get the broad statements. "Afflalo sucks tonight". Sure.
not trying to fight dude I just thought yeah he sucks tonight but he's been getting a little bit much hate recently. He played above his head and now it looks bad when he plays below it.
Draymond Green
8-8
2-2 from 3
8 reb
9 assists
2 steals
2 blocks
what the fuck.
I have noticed how half these Knicks players get no arc on their shot

It's an unusually efficient shooting night, but the all around box score isn't unusual for him at all.

yeah the shooting tho. And he also just stopped getting assists. All those were in the first.
THis game makes me mad because it looks too easy for that team. They may be likable but....
would it be a crazy thought for a team to play that team like they're the 94 KNicks? Like it's nice they can shoot and it's nice that they can run around, but maybe if a team was willing to play a dirty game for the sake of trying to win. Physical, guys getting elbows, knocked to the ground etc.... It's not supposed to look easy so if they are going to win at least make it hurt. That;s what I would do anyway.

Clips/Warriors games are always physical and chippy -- Chris Paul commits about 391 foul-worthy acts against Curry a game -- but the Warriors can play through that. They're not soft just because they're efficient and orchestrated.
not saying they wouldn't still win but they wouldn't feel as good shooting 60%. That's how I would play it. If they come onto the court and at least know that they may win but they will get their ass knocked to the ground any trip into the paint, elbows in their ears, knees....nothing like a punch or whatever but it shouldn't be fun. I don't literally mean play dirty but I watch hockey. Hockey isn't a dirty game, but you won't see one team come into an arena and make a mockery of another. If you want to skate in circles and pass the puck like its a joke, then your best players will feel something besides glory. Just wouldn't see something like this in that sport. The pride is too great and the physicality is too tough to hold back when guys get embarrassed. You may get beaten 6-2 one time but next time it won't look like that,.
Come beat us in the Garden but think before during and after that they'll fly home with some achy bones.
Physicality has literally been rulebooked out of basketball. They don't want teams playing that way.
i totally get it but im saying if you play a whole game, not with arms extended but like body guys and make it a LITTLE tougher....I mean it's not a totally different sport. They call fouls anyway right? So make a foul worth it. If you play all game that way, they have to adjust. I don't care if they changed the style a bit, ytou can't call a foul every trip down the court.
that allows hack a player where it literally looks like walking up to a guy and rubbing his arms, but you can't play defense? Just try it once. That;s all i'm saying. I can't watch a team come into MSG and shoot 60% and have our fans cheering them like they're celebrities. Screw that shit. Team would earn respect even if you lose, if you lose that way,.
This years Spurs are one of the greatest defensive teams of all time so far.
You just can't be overly physical anymore. They'll call it every time. If you're too physical they'll call the flagrant.
The Knicks are just several classes below the Warriors. The Warriors are gunning for greatest season of all time status, the Knicks are trying to claw their way to the 8th seed in the east.
Aflallo would be a prime trade candidate if it weren't for the fact the Knicks are highly incentived not to lose since they don't have their pick. If they could get any kind of asset that's more long term id still deal him but I can't see it happening.
when they defend due to reputation. Nothing egregious, but there are a lot of borderline calls in the NBA, and if you shift them from (e.g.) 70% pro-offense to 55% pro-offense it makes difference in so many ways. The defense creates more TOs and bad shots, fewer FTA-against, and opponents will eventually adjust in a pro-defense way.
We might again in the finals.
I guess there isn't a case yet for using Grant over Calderon, but it's getting close. The question then is who becomes the back-up two.
who's next on the sched?
THey are shooting 60%.
If they make every basket then what the hell can you even do? Plus the Knicks get called for fouls like there is a quota.
Fix that shit and he is already a great player.
14/17.
I'm sure any team can beat that. How about they shoot a reasonavle 50% next half. 90% is a bit much.

Depressed value asset. Everyone should ask.

Good, make sure that guy doesn't go to the Cavs. He's the one guy who consistently gives Draymond Green trouble.
