the "How can we miss you, if you won't go away" category. This is for the recent plague of posters who go to great lengths to advise us of their grievances for departure, then show-up a week later. This could also be the "Rasputin" category.
He struck me as a bright guy, and not only because he learned to appreciate The Sarah Connor Chronicles as the penultimate Terminator entry that poked holes in every other.
You wanna compare brainpans? I won the Westinghouse prize when I was 12, big deal. Published at 19, so what. I got a double doctorate from MIT at 22, Chemistry and Geology. I taught at Princton for two and a half years. Why do I do this, because I get to travel the pay is great and I get to blow shit up.

Bill2, Marshall on Montana, Phil in WPNY (or something, I got his name wrong), and Ronnie for some of his military experiences. Each has their own sphere, but I like this group's posts a great deal.

Eric said he had to stop posting due to work (I think he works for the NFL).
I actually googled his email one day (was always curious since we were the same age, as I remember us both posting about going to college at the same time and being in our senior years, etc etc) and found that he works in PR or fan outreach for the NFL (at least some capacity that requires him to work with the public), so that's probably the reason he had to completely stop posting.

even though I feel like I'm smarter than most of the people who go there. Sometimes I see an equation written on a blackboard, like half an equation and... I just figure it out.

I think I could win a pretty high prize for most success with most pathetic undergraduate career. 2.09 average and it took me 4 1/2 years to graduate. If I didn't cheat my way to a D in mathematical microeconomics, I would have had to petition to graduate.
Since, a pretty solid 41 year career as a strategist on Wall Street.
I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal People know me. I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

Double doctorate from MIT at 22 and professor at Princeton, yet has enormous difficulties putting together a coherent sentence.
