She doesn't even pass the hot/crazy filter, after seeing a picture. This was a bad call by JB.
Bromley also won’t likely be charged with assault over her claim that he hit her with his car outside the hotel, because video shows she jumped on the hood, the sources said.
Meanwhile, cops have learned that the accuser has a history of seeking out sports stars through Instagram — which is how she met Bromley — and receiving payment after having sex with them, the sources said.

I didn't see a picture, is there a link anywhere?
Tough to speculate accurately about these things, Â
still a pretty bad move by Bromley and he ought to be embarrassed. It says a lot about a man's self-esteem (or lack thereof) when he has to pay for sex. It also says something about how he feels about women, which is, at the very least, a little troubling.

I don't think you read the link - he thought he was on a date. When she asked him for cash, that's when he decided to bolt.
"She went to the hotel room voluntarily and engaged in a sex act voluntarily. After that, he wanted more. She said to stop. He did, in fact, stop," the source said.
Should be brought up on the same charges the man who have received if he was wrongly convicted.
Scum of the earth people like this need to be locked up. It is a very scary thing when it is your word versus a woman in 'distress'.
I am very happy Jay Bromley has video evidence to prove his innocence.
I'm not sure if she should get the same charges but she should definitely be punished. She's guilty of a crime if this has been proven. There really needs to be significant repercussions for things like this (I don't know what they are or aren't already)
Kinda glad this seems to have all been a nonsense story Â
...I'm relieved for both jay and the Giants. I see him as a solid starting DT who stepped into a bigger role when Hankins went down and got the job done. Still has some upside as a pass rusher he may tap into in year three. The last thing we needed was to lose another quality defender going into free agency and the draft.
Are you a Syracuse grad? You have a man crush on Bromley? You keep talking about him on other threads like he is an All Pro and have said we only have three pieces in the front seven and include him with Hankins and Kennard. When in truth, he is not good. He is a backup at best. If he is a starting DT for us next year our D will again be ranked 30th-32nd in the league.
Unfortunately, the current implementation of the law Â
encourages operators like this to make false charges of sexual misconduct. Really what does she have to lose? She now has her 15 minutes of fame and will suffer no legal consequences.
RE: Kinda glad this seems to have all been a nonsense story Â
but not yet a good starter. He's still young, and if he picks his game up this season, he may yet be a starting caliber dt. At this point, with Jenkins age, we still need another dt and this is a good year to find one in the draft.
none of my dates ever started with her naked on a bed Â

A. You're wrong about his intentions.
B. Plenty of celebs pay for talent because its less complicated. As Charlie Sheen once said, you're not paying for sex, you're paying for them to leave.
RE: did he really leave because she asked for money? Â
who jumped to the worst of conclusions about this kid before the facts came out should now apologize with the same vigor? Probably not though. You know who you are. Trash bags.
Still, not a very good look and probably not one the Giants want.
Not a good look? He was on a date with a girl who later turned out to be an extortionist. How was he supposed to prevent that, ask her outright 'say, have you ever tried to blackmail someone for cash before?'.
Still, not a very good look and probably not one the Giants want.

Yep, not a good look. Something I doubt the Giants are thrilled with no matter who's at fault.
...when Hankins went down with the torn pec what did you think the effect would be? Primarily on the interior run defense. I was extremely worried and paid close attention over the remainder of the season. Did you pay attention to who took the majority of the DT snaps after his injury? How did the interior hold up without clearly it's best player in Big Hank? Because it was Bromley in there anchoring that spot.
Think about that and how it bodes for his future. Not everyone needs to be a 'star' or 'impact player' to be a quality starter. There is a level in between elite and JAG and Jay is still a young player who has flashed some penetrating ability. He wasn't asked to play much 3-Tech after Hank went down because they needed him to carry the load. I think he has a bright future if this episode evaporates as it appears it might.
Still, not a very good look and probably not one the Giants want.

The NFL makes it a point to teach the rookies about being careful getting involved with women for just this reason. This is literally something taught at the Rookie Symposium.
In the end, looks like a young player making exactly the same mistake many other have. At least it wasn't worse than this.

He was not paying for sex, he thought it was a legit date. He went into the bathroom when he came back into the room, she had already stripped and immediately started to perform oral sex on him.In the middle of it she stopped and said she wanted 2k he told her no thanks he thought they were on a date. She then continued and she also continue to press him to pay her. He got up got dressed and walked out. How is that paying for sex. The guy was looking for a date, he was not looking to pay for sex.
Hopefully McAdoo bans players from engaging in coitus. Â
Still, not a very good look and probably not one the Giants want.

Being honest - I have been married for longer than the existence of Facebook, Tinder, etc. If I were a young, single guy now - what's to stop me from having the same exact problem that Bromley had? And Bromley has it worse, since he's a pro athlete and is a target because of his money.
You meet a woman online, she's looking for a hookup. You meet up with her, things check out, you proceed - the next thing you know she's telling you fork over some cash or she's going to cry rape.
How do you prevent it, save for avoiding meeting women in that way, which seems to be a pretty popular mechanism nowadays? Would it be any different picking up a strange woman in a bar?

+1. I've been in a relationship since 2005 (now married). My still single friends, doctors, lawyers, an NCAA coach, and other professionals, are all over these apps. To pretend like it's just ballers who use these things for hookups is just the cry old people who dont the youths today. High profile people should be more guarded for their own good, but you dont want to blame the victim. Just like a girl should walk down well lit streets and preferably not alone =/= a girl is responsible in part for getting sexually assaulted on the street.

Well, that's kind of the thin line between chaos and order that's always around us.
Take the technology out of it, any time you go on a date regardless of how you met, you're relying on the sanity of the other party not to be an axe murderer or not to cry rape after something consensual.
but when do we go back and point out the people on this board who took the initial info and ran with it as a reason to blame Jerry Reese for drafting this player?

If you talk with the guy hes an introvert with a lot of childhood issues. Super nice, gentle giant guy tho...just made a really bad call.
But, I have trouble with terming it he thought he was on a date? What date? He met her online, picked her up, and went straight to a hotel room. What kind of date is that? It may have been understood they were meeting for sex, but that doesn't sound like a date. Maybe it's just semantics.

Might've missed it but where does it say they went 'straight to the hotel room'? The first thing we know anything about how their night went was Bromley saying that he emerged from his bathroom and there she was butt naked on his bed.
And I think it IS just semantics. The point is that Bromley didn't agree to go out with her expecting to have to pay her for any 'services' she provided.

I remember him doing an interview when he was drafted mentioning that he was but maybe it's an open relationship or that ended. Hopefully it's one of those things anyway.
But people were ready to cut him while taking extra shots at Reese when the news first hit. You could tell it was a bogus story from the start. Not a good decision by him in the first place but he'll learn from it.
Inflation, I guess.

Exactly, and it sounds like Bromley handled himself the right way once it went bad.
That is, subsequent to finding out he'd been lured to a midtown motel room by a skank...
A. You're wrong about his intentions.
B. Plenty of celebs pay for talent because its less complicated. As Charlie Sheen once said, you're not paying for sex, you're paying for them to leave.
hehe
Probably on the list of reasons TC is our former coach. Kuhn was awful, Bromley was better.

Why alot of women already traumatized chose not to come forward.
As to this women, must be something on the books for making a false statement to police.
And, in their situation, it's the smart move. No muss, no fuss, discreet.
