The number one overall recruit, defensive lineman Rashan Gary. Gary was the consensus number one overall recruit, fellow D-Lineman Jadeveon Clowney and Robert Nkemdiche were the only other consensus number one overall recruits since 2000. Thoughts?
But it sucks watching Michigan walk into NJ and take the top recruits virtually uncontested from Rutgers. I'm hoping chris ash can change this a little, but my god having Flood seems to have hurt RU so badly.
Robert Nkemdiche. Just read that scouts think he can run in the 4.5's at 300 pounds, that is insane. But Michigan will be competing for a BCS title as soon as next season thanks to Harbaugh.
RE: He also hired the kid's father as an assistant

It's way before Flood. Before Michigan there was Penn State in NJ. Even Iowa has had a run getting some good kids in the 80s-90s. Schiano had a small run of getting NJ kids, and even he was not getting 5-stars.
will have a hard time being #1 in their conference so long as Urban Meyer is coaching OSU. They've also been #2 in their own state for a while with MSU being the superior program. Wake me up when they show it on the field.
RE: as we all know, Kyle, the sun even shines on a dog's ass some days
The Midwest is a shitty hellhole of snow and meth addicts. Their fans are supremely arrogant despite their conference being a joke for most of the past two decades. They have some of the most repulsive coaches in NCAA history in Urb and Harbaugh.
And you want the cherry? Ohio State's supposedly awesome title team LOST AT HOME TO VIRGINIA FUCKING TECH. Lost. To. Tek. At. Home. How the fuck is such a team even allowed in the playoff? How do they not have a gigantic asterisk attached to them for vomiting up the worst loss a national championship team has ever had?

Hey come on, at least Northwestern and Michigan are good academic schools.

If you're comparing to the SEC it's a lot more than those two.
Harbaugh must have had a sleepover at Gary's house....
To go from 40+ to top 5 (maybe 1) in ONE year is f'king amazing..
Sorry this is a joke right?

LOL
I guess your nap is over then because they are relevant. This might put them as the top college recruiting class.
Wake up. The alarm has sounded since last year. Michigan is relevant again.
ZZZZZZZZ
(that's me sleeping).

Wasnt Wisconsin 3rd in the JV division?
They were a failed punt operation away from beating MSU. Seems sorta relevant.

Says something when Wisconsin's worst year was the best year Michigan's had in the past decade.

... and it could be argued that they're at least #2...

The competition to get their shit pushed in by an SEC team is fierce indeed.

Relevancy restored. So far in Harbaugh's tenure, Michigan has been more relevant than Wisky.

Michigan annihilated the SEC championship game participant. Just sayin'.

Yes, I was joking. It wasn't his Dad. It was his high school coach.

Sorry bud. Still irrelevant on the national scene. Maybe they can at least make it to the B1G title game this year, but I doubt it.

That goes without saying, lol.

What's that!?
Not quite. They hired his HS coach (up until his senior year) as an assistant
Cant win em all. We tried though!

12th in the nation and #1 recruiting class. I would say they are relevant.

They're actually 7th on Rivals, even with Gary.

And you can't really fault them when Rutgers thought they had hired him until Harbaugh swooped in out of nowhere.
Where does the hate come from? This is Virginia Tech stuff right here!
It's really strange.
I could use a wiki on it, feel like I'm out of the loop.

Someone hates his school's bitter rival? SERIOUSLY? Shit, that's stunning.

Yeah it's way beyond that. That's why it stands out.
Please, we just spent close to a decade with Rich Rod and Brady Hoke. Let us have this. Lol.

Harbaugh will be forced to resign under embarrassing circumstances within five years. Book it.

Yeah. Probably for winning 4 National Titles in that span.
