"The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel expects the Packers to move on from free agent James Jones.
Beat writer Rob Reischel believes the Packers "figure to go with younger players" at wide receiver, parting with 32-year-old (in March) Jones. Although Jones was Aaron Rodgers' most reliable 2015 target, his separation skills were clearly lacking and Jones rarely makes plays after the catch. The Packers will welcome back Jordy Nelson (ACL) and Randall Cobb while Jeff Janis, Jared Abbrederis, Davante Adams, and Ty Montgomery vie for complementary roles."
Crabtree signed an extension during the season.
Agreed, but I could see him coming to camp if no one else is interested. We really have nothing at WR after Beckham and Harris. Randle is gone, and everyone else is an unproven JAG, or an injured Cruz.

If we're going with the older veteran route, Michael Crabtree is right there.
Crabtree signed an extension during the season.
Well so much for that =)
maybe BBI needs to adopt a sarcasm emoji....
Why not?
Nobody will sign Jones.
depends who else we end up with. Hopefully the don't count on Cruz this year.
If Randle is gone you need something ( hopefully better than JJ tho ).
Really was getting worried that we had gotten over this obsession...
