for the Giants or Jets seems like a natural fit. If he still has the desire to play.

Davis has said pretty consistently that he wants to come back in 2016. Â

The 49ers still control his rights. I''m not sure exactly how his old contract would shape his future comp, but he definitely isn't a free agent.

he would cost roughly $5 mil. per year. But then you get into what the 49ers would want as compensation.
