The label on Aquafina water bottles will soon be changed to spell out that the drink comes from the same source as tap water, the brand's owner PepsiCo said Friday.

A group called Corporate Accountability International has been pressuring bottled water sellers to curb what it calls misleading marketing practices....

Sales of bottled water has been a growing source of revenue for companies such as PepsiCo, based in Purchase, N.Y., and Atlanta-based Coca-Cola as they lessen their dependence on sales of traditional carbonated sodas, as consumer concern over health issues has weakened demand.

come from a tap in Flint.

If it's labeled as water, where do you think it came from?
Really nothing surprising.

They filter it to remove the impurities and chemicals.
Where else would it come from?

Dasani is purified tap as well...

...and Dasani is my favorite.

Worked in the bottled water industry for a good chunk of a decade (contain your jealousy, please) and I always preferred purified over spring water. Spring tends to be much more inconsistent, overly soft and by its nature has a higher percentage of total dissolved solids (tds) - AND most spring water is well water, there is no regulation that it has to come from an actual bubbling spring.

Worked for Great Bear Spring Water from 88-94, and Dasani tastes almost exactly like the Great Bear purified I loved (which came from the Teterboro municipal source.)

in bottles today is not "spring" water. Evian is one of the few that is.
In other news Aquafina is wet

Yes, but what is Evian, backwards? (almost?) :)
