needs the broncos (as of now before the huge sharp money comes in on them) to cover. Vegas needing one side to cover is a good enough reason to think they'll cover.
I would love to see Carolina lose. However, I think the reason they cover is that their defense will give Peyton more problems than Denver's defense gives Cam.
I can easily see Peyton's career ending with a 4 INT performance. Carolina will have short fields for the majority of the game.
games ended and I'm sticking too it. Denver's only shot is scoring first and grinding the game out. But I don't think they can contain Cam enough for him to not make multiple big plays to Olsen or Ginn.
They (Carolina O) are in the "zone" right now. Denver's D will not be able to hold back Carolina's O enough to keep the game close. Denver's O will not score many points against a tough Carolina Defensive.
Too much media push from the public on Carolina. Usually teams get overrated due to this. You need to look no further than the Giants Super Bowls for proof. Plus Denver is a very good team, people are forgetting that for some reason.

Normally i'd agree and even though I still think Denver has a great shot to win, its all due to Payeton's arm. This isn't Brady at the top of his game in 2007 getting beat by an underdog. This is a burn out, old, slow, and dead armed QB trying to throw against a really good defense. He's going to need to dig really deep to win this game, IMO.
Denver will have trouble moving the ball. They're going to make peyton look really old. Maybe a garbage time TD makes it like 31-16. I don't see it much closer than that.
with Manning on the bench. I think this is an easy cover for CAR. Don't want to see CAR win but I can't see Denver putting up more than 10 points with that offense.
Think about it. How can Denver attack the CAR D? They don't have the running game. They don't have the QB.
I see it as an old school Super Bowl blow out. 85 Bears vs Patriots type of one sided game.
RE: Denver had one of the best defenses in the league
And this Carolina team never playing in one keeps this game close. Denver has a lot of players who have done the whole Super Bowl insanity before. Should be an advantage. Plus they have an insane defense and defense plays in the SB.

but I'm not at all surprised by tonight's result. We've all seen first-hand what a great pass rush does. Denver had the best pass rush in the NFL this year, and it wasn't close.
Miller and Ware had to bring their A game. They did, and that was the difference.

Will be a boring blow out.
I feel a Denver win here.
I have this overwhelming feeling of a 3-3 halftime score....can easily see 1st quarter having very few points.
Peyton is not Peyton, and Cam is buoyed by a great OL and run game -- neither are legitimately killing people all by themselves.
Did you see how New England limited Wilson last year? The QB everyone likes to tout as awesome?

Playing in Denver's house a missed extra point is all that kept NE from winning.
This won't be close.

Which an be a big mistake - ask Brett Farve.
I am taking Denver and the under.
I think Denver wins outright as Cam hasn't played a defense like this yet.

But, Carolina's defense seems to be the only one getting any respect.

Told you ....
Bwahaha
