Selling tickets online

ryanmkeane : 2/5/2016 1:14 pm
Scored some front row Devils tickets in a raffle that are $400 face value each. I can't make the game (and would probably sell regardless) and I'm looking to put them online. Considering the eBay auction route or Stubhub. Anyone have experience with this? Best and quickest way?

is your best option.
I sold my season tickets last year on ebay.

ebay hits you for a charge and then paypal hits you for a charge. Look into that with stubhub. I am sure Mook can answer that in terms of fees and percentages attached to each.
ebay/paypal

is basically 13%, stubhub it depends on the sport/event sometimes. I think most you will get hit with in fees on stubhub is 15%, but it could be as low as 10%. You don't get hit with any paypal fees on stubhub if you choose that method of payment, or they will send you a check also.

You may pay more in fees on stubhub but it's worth it. More people go right to stubhub to buy tickets than they do ebay
All of the options are very expensive

Stubhub is your only bet i think because this particular ticket is ineligible for ticketexchange

by the way - $400 face value at a Devils game? That doesnt sound right to me - really doubt you'll get that value in sale. good luck.

it looks like the first row seats against the glass in some areas do have that type of face value.

It's Devils-Kings next Sunday (Valentine's Day). It's section 1, 1st row behind the glass (GL1). $394 on the ticket itself. I was shocked too. But this is pretty much equivalent to a floor seat at a NBA game right? I don't see myself getting that value for them but I'll try my best to sell them for over 300.
