USAF NYG Fan : 2/7/2016 10:40 pm

no way we would pay the ransom he will be asking.
As I said, Von Miller is a dream.

Malik Jackson was an underrated beast on the field tonight.
Jackson as a 3 Tech DT

Consensus on BBI is no contracts to players with significant injuries in their past...

Yes he was. Will he be a beast for the Giants is the expensive question now?
Only way we get Miller in NY

is if we buy the Broncos and move them here.

Hey, the New Jersey Broncos! Dan Reeves was ahead of his time...
We should dip our feet into
The_Boss : 2/7/2016 10:58 pm : link
the premium FA pool at least once if we are serious about upgrading the roster. Jackson might command $12 million per year. On a DL with very little talent (assuming no JPP), would he be worth it?
Why would they
micky : 2/7/2016 10:59 pm : link
they have Brinkly and JT Thomas or Kennard when healthy

Why in the world you ever do that?

Not only do you suck up 17 plus million of cap room, you also give up a first round pick

Would be an incredibly stupid move to do something like that
Get Jackson and Trevathan and I'll be jumping for joy.

Both are really good players. Of course, Denver should have some $ once Peyton retires.

They need to re-sign Miller, already paid Wolfe and re-sign Oswieler. I think Jackson hits FA, same with Trevathan.
Jackson benefits from talent around him

liked him when he came out in the Draft and went where I thought he should -- he is good but not an above average DL.

If the price is right --- can help and Giants like to sign players that have won a SB to bring a winning attitude.

Defense look at it one great player the rest are good players but they play as a prepared defense. Was there anything really special they did tonight they just played a very good defense plan all eleven guys.

Never said we SHOULD only asked if we CAN, and you unintentionally answered so thanks, but I suppose it's not as dumb as you think, if we had a late pick yes but I understand how you feel because we are 10th overall. For the right player you give up 17m in space and a first rounder, Von Miller is that kind of player but i think that action is for more desperate teams than we currently are.
For a franchise player

If it's 'exclusive' you can't sign him anyway - he can only sign with Denver

If it's 'non exclusive' it's 2 first rd picks + 17mm-ish contract

'Aint happening either way dude
