Is a Coors guy. He knew if Peyton made that 2 pt conversion and the team won, he would have to drink Budweiser In celebrationbecause after multiple shameless plugs, the Manning family would get a lifetime supply of the brew.
laughed when I saw it...first reaction was he doesn't seem very
and funny but if anyone is serious here or anywhere that Eli is upset that Peyton won, they are insane.
Secondly, I really think it's as simple as him being nervous and then whether it seems stupid or not, I think he knows Peyton is retiring and realized its his last game and this was the end. I could see being upset aboyt that.

Mornin' Seth..You actually bothered to explain? :)
funniest part about all this is that there will be a huge amount of
talk about this and it literally could be something as simple as drinkin gand being bombed, havig a bad case of the shits, had an argumemt 2 min earlier...
who knows? I know I make faces like that when I know I have to wait for thge bathroom and have to get in there.

Media: Embellish the negative perception, be almost dismissive when the positive presents itself..
Cooper gritted his teeth, Archie was just there as expressionless as Eli. Maybe they don't celebrate when watching until its over. Such overblown nonsense.
I actually thought maybe it was a bittersweet moment
First, he asked me why Eli wasn't celebrating. I joked and said Eli is probably upset he no longer has the most SB wins in the family. My son just says, "He'll win another one, probably more." When I counter that Eli probably doesn't have a lot of time left, maybe 5 years, he says, "That's plenty of time. He'll only be 40." I love the innocent optimism. His parting shot was, Eli still has more SB MVPs.
Quite a contrast with Peyton's reaction in the stands when Eli was winning SB's.
To be fair, Peyton was enthused because Eli threw a game-winning touchdown against an undefeated team in the last seconds of the game. Going for 2 when the game has already been put out of reach isn't quite on the same level.

I was more openly enthused at that moment than Eli was. And that's odd. But then, that is what is great about Eli and one of the attributes that makes him the guy you want behind center with two minutes to go.
Huh? So if you're an athlete that doesn't play into the hands of the media every time you're on camera, that makes you a weird dude?
How about he's just nervous for his brother who just threw his last pass in his career and is about to win a Super Bowl. What a weirdo! You can actually see how nervous he is with the moment he and his mother shared.
I would not be surprised if Eli came out on fire next year.
Its also year three in the new system and WCO QBs usally excel in the third year when they can just react and paly fast. Please Jerry get Eli a professional TE.
Were cool and you could really get a taste of that persons personality by the way they walked up there. Tom Brady looks like he thinks he's the coolest guy in the room. Drew Brees just walks up like a boss. Aaron Rodgers is the cockiest guy there is. Eli was just blank with a derp wave and walk.
He's so low key which is weird for a great QB.
2 SB MVP's are still 2 SB MVP's. Peyton had as significant a role
said that they watch each other's games the same way. They are always sitting there calculating and figuring out clock, down, plays to run, what is left before it's actually over etc. They "don't think the game is over until its really over".
Either way, Eli has to answer for this. Could keep him on the bubble for the Hall.
He's not gonna celebrate prematurely and jinx it.
As far as Eli winning another one, well let's just see what we do on the D side in the off season.
Eli shows same expression during brother's touchdown.
Media: "Look how much Eli hates his brother's success!"
I'm sure he was lying all week and he accidentally revealed his true feelings in that one moment.
Dumb!!!!
It looked to me like Eli was relieved they scored and didn't blow it.
Notice that Archie didn't have much of a reaction either. Both people who actually play the game were still nervous and knew the game wasn't over.
Besides, Eli is going to win a third ring.

Not that Eli is exactly the most emotional guy around, I'm still convinced he's a robot.

What's this one mean ?
He's a weird dude. But I love him.

Everything has to be dissected.
That's what it looked like to me.
This was my reaction as well.....Looked like he was calculating potential losing scenarios is his head.

Looks like it worked.
