Ashley and I, we’ll have that talk at some point, but we are going to enjoy this tonight and celebrate. Our kids are four and they are in Pre-K and the teachers say, you really shouldn’t pull them out of school. We are pulling them out! We are going somewhere and we are going to get the heck out of town.

He shouldn't pull his kids out of Pre-K!
Pre-K!

Why, is it going to hurt their chances of getting into Harvard? SMH

Depends on what he means.
GiantFilthy : 2/8/2016 12:46 pm : link
Does he mean pulling them out of school and putting them in a different school in another state? Or does he just mean a brief vacation?

Pre-K to K is very a very important block of time for kids to learn new daily routines and even more important socially. Especially for the kids who never went to any kind of daycare.
Minus one "very" there.

C'mon, filth. If it was that very very important, pre-K would be mandatory. It is not.

And good for Peyton. Kids need to hit a couple parties too.

time. I get bad looks and snide remarks from the school secretary when I pull my kid out for part of the day for a doctors appt.

I missed at least 1 week a year of school when I was growing up (typically for ski trips up to Vermont) and I turned out ok. I'm not too concerned about what my school secretary says about my kids education.

its universally acknowledged that it's important for kids from poor or unstable households. Obviously Peyton's kids are unlikely to fall in that category.

For a brief vacation it is borderline absurd to think it will make a difference in that kids future.

I hear his son already reads defenses better than Keri Collins.

Rimshot. Try the veal. The real question is will the kids be drinking Budweiser? Inquiring minds want to know.
