NFT: Free Chipotle burritos until 6 pm today

DanMetroMan : 2/8/2016 2:58 pm
Every Chipotle across the land is closed today until 3 p.m., but it's not because of a fresh batch of salmonella burritos. The chain was hosting a company-wide food-safety conference to address the issues that plagued it during the final stretch of its terrible 2015, and to garner goodwill after months of food-poisoning outbreaks it's giving away free burritos. The offer is available until 6 p.m. today, but all you have to do to not pay for lunch is text the word raincheck to 888-222. Be warned, though: Some fear Big Burrito's intentions may be devious.

and bigger servings than it is until it got all corporate. I still believe in the company despite it taking a huge hit.

I will tell you one thing, it's going to be the safest place to eat after all this.

"MIAMI (WSVN) -- Chipotle is giving away free burritos after the company closed their stores for lunch today due to a nationwide meeting.
"If we messed up your lunch plans today, follow the steps and we'll hook you up," Chipotle said online.
To receive a free burrito, just send a text message saying "RAINCHECK" to 888-222.
The company will then respond with a link to claim a free burrito later this week. The offer is only valid from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday."

After 15 minutes, got a text to click on a link. I then typed just my name, zip code and they said in a few days I'll receive another text with my free voucher.

I agree with the reduced serving sizes in recent years. It's still a lot of food for the price you pay but they used to pile on the ingredients to the point where the bread would rip.

Now a days, at several locations, I have to ask them to add more cheese and more chicken over the limited amounts they initially put on my order.

They can't control their food supply. Get ready for more problems.
