TJ Ward Rips the Panthers

Zepp : 2/8/2016 3:04 pm
They are a bunch of soft primadonnas and they are exemplified by Norman and Newton. Norman body slams OBJ but then cries like a little baby after the game cuz OBJ retaliated and crossed the line. Then of course had no interest in reconciling. Newton opens his mouth and dabs and dances when everything is going good but has nothing to say literally when they lose.

Is spot on. These cry babies are caught up in their press clippings.
Last night was as sweet as it gets.

Here is a guy who used Super Bowl media day race-bait and cry about how people who criticize him do so only because of the color of his skin.

This is the "leader" of a team that has made a habit out of grandstanding, self promotion, posing for pictures on the sidelines before the game is over, taunting opponents with baseball bats, and showing a general lack of class, sportsmanship or respect for their opponents.

The fact that Cam Newton would not only suck in the game, but prove to be a dog on the field in the biggest game of his life and then embarass himself in his postgame press conference is too good to be true.

as always

Immoderation trumps moderation....I don't think you go 15-1 in the tough NFC and are wimps.

You meet a better team with a better game plan on a bad day and lose and the world goes nuts. They lost a football game. Period.
Man you'd think

that the Panthers were some terrible team. Not a team that made the super bowl. If the Panthers D wanted to be famous etc. whereas the Broncos wanted to be champions, how come the Broncos offense was historically inept in the SB?

That same was decided by a few turnovers. Could have easily gone the other way if those strip sacks are just sacks.

Don't forget the punk ass bitch josh norman getting the game clinching defensive holding, followed by a phony congrats to peyton and his sweet, sweet loser tears...
I don't think I could have enjoyed that game more...

Because it's called being professional. Ward still shouldn't have said this post game, it comes off a bit poor too, but they weren't going to give the panthers any additional ammo. The way the Broncos have been talking you get the feeling that Carolina provides a ton of ammo which is the whole point I guess.
who win?
jurban : 2/8/2016 6:43 pm : link
that's a fact win..lose or draw...panthers are bunch of classless athletes...they had a great year...but...they showed nooooooooo class...
I think this quote
santacruzom : 2/8/2016 6:48 pm : link
by Ward is even more awesome:

Quote:
“Hey, when things don’t go his way, we see the body language — it’s obvious,” Ward said of Newton. “That’s what we wanted to do. That was our intent to come in this game and get the body language going. We didn’t want the happy, fun-spirited ‘dabbing’ Cam. No, we want the sulking, upset, talking to my linemen, my running backs, ‘I don’t know what’s going on’ Cam Newton — and that’s what we got.”

What, that this guy is graceless in victory? Or that his point that a 15-1 Panthers team that made the super bowl was suddenly exposed as soft, lazy etc. because of one game where two defenses mauled the offenses, and one just did a slightly better job (or was a bit more fortunate).

Are you serious? Sacks, strip sacks, fumbles and interceptions don't just happen in a vacuum! They are caused by superior defense; and sometimes by inferior offense. Learn something about game before voicing your opinions.

The race bait cries are fucking hilariously out of touch. Boo fucking hoo, a black QB thinks he might be treated differently because of his skin. Because there's no precedent for that, right? What a joke.

No problem with people calling Cam a whiny baby after he showed he can dish it out but not take it back last night. But it's pretty obvious a black qb better not open his mouth and speak the truth about what he perceives to be the reason some people don't like him, otherwise the race bait pitchfork crew gets out!
Having said that
Sonic Youth : 2/8/2016 11:40 pm : link
fuck the panthers, fuck josh norman, and good for TJ ward. Cam has clearly shown that he's fairweather as all hell with how he acted yesterday. All smiles when it's going well, but can't hang in there and not act like a pouty baby when it goes to shit.
Hahahaha, I love it.

Seriously- anytime someone brings up Al Sharpton in a situation like that....
It is not any better sportsmanship ...

Fuck you. There is variation in any game. The difference between the Denver defensive TD and a recovery outside the end zone that maybe Denver doesnt punch is isnt superior defense. It is the luck of the bounce. Indeed, which side recovers the fumble is often pure luck except when the guy who strips it also falls on it immediately. Is Denver's sole INT the result of superior D but Carolina's is not? Was it superior D that forced Tolbert to fumble after gashing Denver's D, or was that a fairly ordinary tackle that got super lucky? Video below.

Carolina's D let up 194 yards and forced 2 turnovers. IMO every bit as good as Denver's D in that super bowl, or very close to it.
