the reaction from Peyton, when Eli threw the pass to Burress.....I guess we all expected the same reaction from Eli for his brother......or maybe he was thinking he was no longer one up on him....

First he was too scared to handle the NFL
Then his face meant he had ice water in his veins after winning 2 rings.

Then he was sad his brother won the Super Bowl
...but some people say it's because he's a football player and knows it ain't over till it's over.

Which makes no sense. Peyton's big reaction came when the Giants led a frantic two-minute drive that included one of the best plays of all time to go ahead against an unbeaten team.

The cameras panned to Eli in the fourth quarter of a game the Broncos had never trailed in, at a point where Denver's offense was doing nothing, and with a bit over three minutes in a game that, while in hand, still could have ended badly if the Panthers' subsequent drive had gone better for them.

Eli's face was funny for a quick joke, but the fact that people are taking it seriously is pretty sad.

Eli of all people knows it's not over 'til it's over. He's just keeping his game face on until then.

Coming out of college, his nickname was Easy E because of his consistent demeanor and ability to stay calm and not show much emotion. That was considered a positive trait when he was scouted. All of a sudden his stoic face was supposed to cause for concern from some morons. Then, the same face was supposed to again be a strength just because he won. It makes no sense. that is who he is as a player and one of the reasons he was highly touted.

for any length of time can tell that he was lost in thought and analyzing the situation. As other said, he was thinking like a QB of a professional football team, not a dumbshit fan.

Archie had same reaction and Eli was quicker on the uptake. Cooper also had the same thought as when lifting his son, he looked up at the scoreboard.

When I saw Eli's demeanor in the moment, I knew exactly what was going on. Eli isn't a fan boy. He's not going to be jumping up and down celebrating. He's an NFL QB who has been in the same position multiple times. Eli's lack of emotion is because he was mentally locked in to the game. He's playing the game in his head and at that moment he is calculating variables and what comes next. Archie was doing the same thing. Stupid people just love to come up with stupid theories.
