Two of our favorite douchebags are making some headlines: Stephen A. is reporting that Jeanie Buss is cleaning house in LA at the end of the year to pave the way for Phil's return, and Isola is reporting that Phil has an opt out in his contract at the end of this season, so he can leave us high and dry without compensation. Consider the sources, but that is an unsettling thought given that Dolan stooges like Mills and Houston would likely take over.
On a more positive note, Woj is reporting that the Knicks at least have Westbrook's attention, and Hahn always drops Westbrook's name as a future Knick, so hopefully those two have some legit sources on that front. Westbrook's always been the guy I've had my eye on, more so than even Durant.
Otherwise, we'll see if the tailspin continues tonight against Washington, the final game before the long break. Any thoughts on what Rambis might do to change things up? Gallo starting over Calderon? Tighter rotation? More O'Quinn? Less Sasha and Lou?
- KP was fatigued
- "Very slim chance" Knicks trade before deadline
Yeah. I don't know. If KP is open he should shoot the Fucking ball.
Also, when he and Lopez are on he court at the same time, the offense is terrible. No movement.
Isn't a good shot because he hesitated and was out of rhythm. It was a good look but not a good shot.
Jackson made the point of saying KP has taken some shots which were bad even though he may have been open. Clyde is Jackson's old roommate and seems like they have remained close friends. I think he felt the need to point point out an example of what Jackson was talking about.
None of that happens when he plays with the starters. His offense with the starters is basically long-range jumpers and put backs. He should come off the bench with the second unit and then be on the floor at the end along with Galloway--with whom he plays much better than Calderon.
Not sure how many of you have league pass, but there are some horrible, horrible announcers on many local broadcasts. It could be much worse. The Warriors stick out most to me, they are just two superfans who were given the reins of the commentary (at least one of them is, anyways). They reference to the team as "we" and argue about every little foul called against them. The Hornets, Pelicans, and Cavs also stick out to me as guys you want to argue with after some of the shit they say. I'd take Breen and Clyde over most of these local guys.
Yeah they can't keep that pace. Just shooting the light out right now but they will hit a lull at some point.
Guessing it's knee-related. Need the legs more on the longer shots.

I love Clyde.

I think I'm the only one here who doesn't mind Clyde. Sure, he is aloof, but it's just kind of funny at some point. When I turn on league pass, my roommates (non from the east coast) get a big laugh from some of the shit he says.

+1
I enjoy him as well. I like his humor and wit, I enjoy his stories, and I think he often has an interesting perspective on things.
I also loved him as a player so maybe that makes a difference. I doubt there are too many fans that rooted for him as a player and old enough to have appreciated him as such that doesn't like listening to him today.
Seems odd that they can now decide offensive fouls like that. Just call it a bucket and no foul on Beal.
This is why all these reviews suck. Whether is was or wasn't a charge as a fan you are still asked to accept that being overturned yet accept KP's foul which was a wrong call but not reviewable.
This isn't like football with review on a TD, basketball is a fast pace up and down the court game. Selecting a handful of plays throughout the game to review makes the game worse. Review if a players foot was on the 3-point line fine or if the shot got off before the buzzer but much of this is just bad for the game.
Maybe the most clutch shooter for the team at this point
But that's the downside of a contract with a player option. Guys looked to pad the stats hoping for the big payday, knowing they have the fallback option.
But what really pisses me off about this guy is his repeated failure to get back on transition D. Hope there is a team stupid enough to offer him a bigger contract than the 8 million he is scheduled to get from the knicks.
You left?

LOL, I know
Same shit different regime, you can change the players but nothing ever changes...
deserved to lose
experiment with different combinations. or if you keep the starting lineup you have to be a lot quicker to pull guys.
