and I am very intrigued by the Giants selections helping out the three levels on the D with great, young TALENT.
Of course a lot changes with FA and combine, but with all the crap mocks out there....this first round seems somewhat realistic at this point in time.

I like Apple but it would kill me to see Braxton Miller go next. I don't think he'll last that long anyway.
Wright would be a good 3rd pick. He had a down year but battled through some injuries. The process will be very important for him to rebuild what was first rd stock just a year ago.
Agreed. I haven't seen anything in his game that would make me even slightly consider him at 10.
Scooby has banged up legs.
Apple would be a steal at 40. Unfortunately there's no way he there.

Ever seen a DT with a 40 yard TD reception? - ( New Window )
Like others have suggested - most likely picks are: de, cb, wr. I would think DE or CB, because the value should be there.
Elliott might be a surprise pick. Been watching the Giants for decades - they are way long overdue for a great every down rb. It's a passing league, but the run game helps the passing game.
Yea I agree. Not sure if a guy who jumps out a four-story window is the type, but I want to see him evaluated first. He is way too talented and his '15 season numbers don't tell the whole story in terms of his production.
Don't like Apple or Wright in the second or third either.

I'd love Apple in the 2nd. I doubt he'll be there.

Why wouldn't you want Apple in the second. I feel that would be a steal. Some are saying he is the top CB in the draft. It might be unrealistic to expect him to be there in the second. Who would you take at 10?

We are not drafting Nkemdiche at #10. Headcase. Reese's job is in jeopardy, but he's going to draft a guy with character problems? That's the one negative trait he's corrected in the last few years. Staying away from these guys. He's probably not even on their board.

Apple is a grabber. Lots of holding and PI penalties the last few years. Physical and tough with upside, but not nearly a finished product in coverage. Benefitted a lot from OSU front seven. Good player, but I think we can do better at #40. But probably won't last that long anyway.
Not sure who I'd take at #10. Maybe Alexander or Hargreaves, but I think it would be better to trade down. Maybe somebody wants to move up for Lynch. Goff and Wentz will be gone by #10, and there's a big drop off after Lynch to every other QB.
I am concerned because it looks like there's a severe drop off right before us. I was hoping that this draft was like 2013 when we got OBJ and Donald and Zack were still there too.

I've heard that about Apple regarding the holding and penalties, but consider he is only 20. With his size and athleticism hopefully he would learn better technique with experience and coaching- lots of upside and talent. I love Hargreaves especially his bulldog mentality and instincts, but is he too short? To take at ten at least.
The buckeye I like the most is actually Lee. I know Reese doesn't value the LB in the first as much as others, but with a tradeback I'd be more than happy to take in the first. He is similar to Jack with longer arms and experience playing ILB. Plus is outstanding blitzer which helps the pass rush.
Yeah, we need more stupid meatheads. Let's start targeting guys with a history of violence and abuse, hopefully they force the pussies on the team to step up.

Completely agreed. If he does well at the combine, then forget about him lasting to ten.
Just got rid of one dummy (Moore). Just what we need is a completely out of control fool (Nkemdiche) for the next experiment.

Would he then be known as the "Little Apple?"
