NFT: Resume help (it's been a long time!)

vulcaninvt : 2/10/2016 9:59 am
I have been at my current job for 14 years. I thought I would work here for the duration, but things are not looking so good at this point.

I'm quite rusty with resume writing and what hiring managers are looking for in a resume.

I'd be very grateful if anyone would be willing to take a look at my resume and provide some feedback.

Thanks!

If you're a school admnistrator, you may not get great resume advice from a CPA (for example)
That would help :)

I've worked for a non-profit college student lending corporation, I've had three different "jobs". I started in customer relations, supporting student/parent borrowers. I transitioned to School Services where I built and maintained relationships with staff in college financial aid offices and now I'm a Senior loan account analyst.

a professional..and not a discount one.

Not only is the content better, they put it in scan-able formats that most larger companies use. They also optimize your LinkedIn as well as create a great cover letter.

If you need me to recommend one, let me know.

I did a resume and LinkedIn page last year for Dave in Buffalo (a BBIer). I charge about $100/hr and will cap the cost for the resume and the LinkedIn page.

Dave was very happy with the results. I've got other client references as well.

I deliver the resume in 2 parts that you can send together or separately. First 2 pages are a Professional Summary that condenses your skills, education, job history and accomplishments into a neat package, while maximizing the searchability of your resume. The pages after that are job history with bullet points for responsibilities and accomplishments. It's the specific evidence that backs up the argument presented on the first two pages.

Email me at andrea@exek-recruiters.com if you want help.
