Beason and Schwartz gone. At least JR is on a roll with the 'no-brainer' moves; I'm almost surprised.

however, with Beason and Schwartz it seemed like they were talking their way trough the process of staying on the team as opposed to playing through it.

True. There's a difference between saying it was necessary (and it was) and celebrating, especially when someone has been a positive presence in the locker room.

Not cool Vin. There were discussions just a few posts above about being douchey when someone loses their job; it's especially true about someone like Beason who had a positive influence in the locker room.

Best of luck Jon.
Dude has millions

I'm sure he'll be fine
That first season here

when he managed to stay healthy was a real breath of fresh air at the MLB position. He had a real impact. Unfortunately that proved to be the outlier with his health.

Seemed like a great guy and leader, good luck to him.
Beason

Had to luck but he lasted longer than he should have good luck at home your NFL days are not worth the risk any longer.
Thanks for nothing
averagejoe : 2/10/2016 12:47 pm : link
and good riddance to you. Giants should give him a solid gold exercise bike for his retirement.

What does this mean?
CIP, allegedly Giants fans are the classy ones, right?

Jon Beason was a great player who's body failed him. We only got to have one good year out of him, and it's on our FO for restructuring him. I wish him the best of luck post-football, and hope he can remain with us in some capacity.
