McDonagh and Nash still out.
Doc Emrick will call the game and Pierre will be sitting on the Pens bench...I mean, in between the benches.
Rangers get their first look at Carl Hagelin in a Pens sweater.
Lets keep the winning streak going. Pretty big game, especially going into Friday night's matchup with the first place Kings.
And listen to MxGuire all dejected and sullen since Moore potted his goal.
Toilet stains all around.
3-0. Fuck you'ze.
WTF urinal cake. I about pissed myself...
Can't make much of tonight's game with all the injuries. 3 more with these fucks in March. Fuck them - will take the two
Hank really needs Friday off. Cmon AV - we have some breathing room for the playoffs now if Raanta sucks which i don't think is he case then we need someone better to back up.
WVU basketball lookin solid so far.
How's Colorado? Careful with that schwag out there. It ain't the NY dirt we're used to.
Soon enough my man. Lots of work, right? Holy shit.
Any tips?

Have 4 garage sales of your stuff.
Give away all the shit left over from those sales.
Then burn 40% of the rest of your shit.
Because you and the lady will want all different shit when you get there and all that backache and loading a truck after a twelve pack will be to pack shit you're going to throw away when you get there.
Also, go to a state with good weed.
Stay strong.

Fuck Anaheim in the cunt for trading him just a half season into his deal. Not sure what's with these teams (Chicago - Daley) giving up on proven good players so quickly and trading them to Pitt for dogshit.
Nothing more enjoyable than waking up the next morning and reading about a road thumping of Pittsburgh or Philly.
Hell-vetica?
Crosby vs Yandle: 28.57% possession
Kessel vs Yandle: 25.00% possession
Letang vs Yandle: 43.75% possession
I don't agree with the thinking that the Rangers decision to trade Yandle should be contingent on McDonagh's health. One of the announcers mentioned that last night.
Reason apparently - as all websites say -- they somehow got full (100%) salary relief on Pascal Dupuis. Is that right? He played 18 games for them and wasn't formally put on IR until December. I don't get it.
And for Rangers - why is Nicklas Jensen counting $400K against our cap when he's not even here? And looks like we are penalized $125K for going over the cap last year.
Bettman sucks.
Is anyone actually concerned McD wont be back soon? I know Sauer is still fresh in our heads but it would be pretty stunning if he missed more than 2 weeks, no?
Missed the announcers discussion - were they saying if McD couldn't come back we would be sellers?

Brett, you think they could trade him if this McDonagh injury lingers for a while? I'm not sure they can. I would love to get Skjei back up here though.
I just feel like you have to trade Yandle at this point unless you have a plan to get out of Girardi or Staal's contract before next season.
Giants in 07: I don't think the decision to trade Yandle should be contingent upon McDonagh's health. The internal decision to keep or trade Yandle should have already been made (that doesn't mean he should have already been traded, to be clear). Likelihood of re-signing him, offers on the table, and willingness to forgo a bit of long-term help for a run this season should have all factored into it. Hypothetically - I have no idea what his status is - if McDonagh is out for the year, that should make them more willing to trade him and recoup assets because they aren't winning a Cup if McDonagh is out.
The return won't be enough to make a franchise altering difference down the line and moving him makes the 2016 Rangers a significantly weaker team because his skill set is not readily replaceable.
I've never bought the idea that this current team was too flawed to make a run. They're getting their legs under them now and I think they'll finish the season strong. In the East right now it's literally Washington and everyone else. I'll take my chances. All it takes is a hot Henrik Lundqvist and decent health. I have no interest in white flagging the 2015/16 campaign right now.
But I dont think he's out long-term, and i have no idea why he would be (again - knock on wood, fuckin' Sauer situation).
Announcers always get simple shit wrong.

Arc - first of all - good to see you posting. I hope all is good with you. The best case scenario in my opinion is keeping Yandle and moving a contract or two to fit Yandle. That isn't very likely but I do like Yandle. We do trim some contracts but not much (Boyle).
I'd like to go for it this year and hopefully there will be a smooth transition McIlrath, Brady Skjei, and Ryan Graves.
He's too good, and this group only has a few shots left. It's been an up and down season. But there is one team in the east that is definitely better than us. And I'll take my chances with Hank in net.
Long story short, keep Yandle and play him a lot.
I view the Rangers in that 'second tier' of teams - much like I did in 2013-2014. I'd look to add a fourth line winger to displace Glass and Paille, but I'm doubtful AV wises up.

He’s been leading the Rangers in scoring — in more ways than one. Derick Brassard is looking for love online, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The 28-year-old Canadian hockey star has female tongues wagging over his profile on exclusive dating app Raya, a favorite among celebs.
Two separate sources tell us they’ve been texting back and forth with the studly center on the app.
+1. I'd rather trade Nash if he'd waive his NTC.
Even if you told me we weren't going to be able to keep him beyond this year, I still think he has more value to this years team than the return he'd yield in a trade.
I would certainly like to try and bolster the 4th line a little. That's something that should be do-able. I hate to belabor the point about Tanner Glass but it's incredible to me that we still haven't upgraded that roster spot. It's not difficult. He's a crappy player.
May make more sense to let him walk.
In short - one of Nash, Girardi or Staal has to go and be replaced internally (Buch, Skjei etc) to make room for Yandle (or Shattenkirk... and the issue with KS is what do we have to give St Louis that they'd accept... Staal for KS ain't gonna happen unfortunately)
Also a delicate situation - you have to ask the player if they'll waive and find a trading partner willing to take on that commitment -- once you go to the player, you risk losing his effort and dedication while still here.
I'm also not sure our guys will waive their NMCs -- would be nice, but you heard Lundqvist talk after the game to NBCsports about how close he is with the other vets on this team, and then there's the Hagelin article above (REALLY fuckin miss that guy)... its a tight lockerroom. Phaneuf in contrast is playing for one of the worst 3 teams in the league and very early stages of a long rebuild for a fan base that is brutally impatient.
