NGT: Off Season Outlook Analysis of Da Bears

gidiefor : Mod : 2/13/2016 1:00 pm
I thought it would be interesting to look at this analysis From Pro Football Rumors. The Bears had the same record as the NY Giants in 2015 pick immediately after the Giants in the Draft and an are $51+million under the cap right now.

Me they'll tag Jeffrey and look to keep rebuilding that defense. The offense, despite injuries at RB, TE, and WR, had a fairly decent year. I wouldn't be surprised if Rolle was released.
I wish Cicago Marty would weigh in on his Bears' take,

one, because I miss him, two, because he follows them closely
Ironic

Many on here want Trevathan and Jackson and this article has Chicago needing/wanting both. John Fox may have an edge with all things being equal in the money department.

are an awful lot like Da Jints imo. And the operative word is awful.

Every single position on Da Bears D needs an upgrade. Sound familiar?

New Bear OC Gase did absolute wonders with Cutler but Da Bears need upgrading on the OL and more speed at wr and it is doubtful anyone can really replace Forte

Ask and you shall receive BB but be careful what you ask for...

I'll take my chances with you, CM..Always good to see you..Thoughts on the Bears franchising Jeffery?
Franchising Jeffery?

That could happen. They really like him.

Guess who they are beginning to disdain?

Marty B!

Fox is extremely well liked by the players. Long thinks of him like he is his father.

So there is a chance a quality player or two will come to Chicago from Denver. Pace however will be extremely unwilling to pay a SB premium when he has so many needs so we will just have to see.

I suspect Chicago will also be in the market for a PK for the first time in years..

but I'd like Forte as a stopgap option at RB until we can draft someone we're comfortable handing the reigns over to.

Chi would have inside track on Denver D guys, but you don't know, and $$$$ talks.
Get what we can in FAs, draft well.
Until the Beatty cut I thought we were better off than them on OL, but now we definitely need at least 1 more OL, they might rent Beatty.
Off season will be fun.

Jeremy Langford had a nice rook season but Forte was a great player. Difficult to replace.
