so BBI thinks Floydd is a Top 10 pick?

Mike Mayock thinks its a good pick since he has Floyd as the best edge rusher in the draft outside of Bosa
Mayock was also ecstatic

about Dion Jordan. Dolphins can't turn in a copy of his ranking at the service counter for a refund.

said they really liked this guy was right. I'm a big Jerry fan. So I think he should probably go with a safer pick than this guy.
Floyd was sick
Peppers : 3/16/2016 5:09 pm : link
Didn't do much at the pro day. He had a 35" vert and ran the circles drill. He weighed in at 248 which was 4 lbs heavier than what he weighed at the combine.

I trust Jerrah in the first round, but after that, no.
He let a tummy ache
Rflairr : 3/16/2016 5:16 pm : link
keep him from at least attempting the drills? I know Jerry must be pissed.

Shitting yourself in front of a bunch of NFL talent evaluators and media would probably be quite embarrassing.
"Floyd didn’t seem to capture

the seriousness of not completing his workouts and not participating in the position drills.

'Why wouldn’t I be worthy?,” Floyd said when asked if he was worth a first-round pick. “I mean I played at Georgia. I made plays for Georgia. Why wouldn’t I be?'

Floyd weighed in at 248 pounds, four pounds more that he did at the combine. He may have eaten too much for the weigh-in.

'Most team question my weight and how much I weighed and if I can continue to gain weight', Floyd said. 'That’s the biggest question. I just show with the scale. I weigh in to keep showing them that I’m gaining weight.'”

Think I might rather take a shot at Nkemdiche; at least I know what position he plays. And he's a couple of years younger.

Go take a shit and then come out and attempt the drills. Can't imagine him skipping the drills for a tummy ache, reflects well on him with teams

he ate a shitload of food and water so that he can weigh in heavier than his combine.

obviously thats why he couldnt complete his workout.
FLOYD does he fit?
Ivan15 : 3/16/2016 5:58 pm : link
Just what they need for a 4-3. A tweeter who can't be a 3 down player.

If you told me he is like JPP coming out of college, I might get excited. I'm not too excited about a comparison to Kiwi.
I've seen him listed from 6-3 to 6-6, which is it?
Jim in Hoboken : 3/16/2016 6:12 pm : link
Obviously a good athlete, but sort of blend in with the other good athletes on the Georgia team. Youtube tapes don't really scream an impact player, the Giants seem to be locking onto him though.

Lots of mocks project him to be in the 20's. As things seem to be unfolding, I think the BPA from the consensus top tier that will likely make it to us are Stanley or Hargreaves. I'd probably prefer either to Floyd.
Did he really say
ryanmkeane : 3/16/2016 6:55 pm : link
"I mean I played at Georgia." ? That's not a good look.
I do not see it.......please, sell me. Floyd looks like a JAG to me

No great moves......does not disengage from blockers...., no second gear.

leonard floyd vs Vandy. He's got lots of quickness in the pass rush. Not as great moving in space, but not bad. He's really tough to block.

Del Shofner : 3/16/2016 7:59 pm : link
that tape doesn't show anything particularly special to me. Also, no mock I see puts Floyd higher than in the 20's.
That Vandy OL was also in shambles.
bigbluehoya : 3/16/2016 8:01 pm : link
That game is the best non-highlights tape I was able to find on him, and even at that it wasn't overly impressive.
Not performing at the pro day
DavidinBMNY : 3/16/2016 8:14 pm : link
Is bad.

Really Bad.

Honestly, I'd drop him a tier.

I agree with this. He's got multiple teams, GMs and coaches flying in to see him and he's just kinda taking it easy today. That's a red flag for me honestly, sick or not sick.
when I saw Von Miller's tape

He jumped off the screen. Not highlight tape, game tape. I'm not seeing that wow factor with Floyd.

From the article - "In between, Floyd was clocked at 4.32 seconds in the short shuttle and 7.18 seconds in the 3-cone. These are times which would have ranked among the best amid pass rushers tested in Indianapolis."

7.18 3 cone for a guy that size is outstanding and a measurable the Giants value highly.
