the other, even more consistent tradition is that Dallas gets a "long" preparation for its mid-season game against the Giants.
The previous three years in a row, Dallas was given its bye the week before playing the Giants. This year, Dallas gets its Thursday night game in Week 13, preceding its trip to NYG in Week 14.
There's no way any of this happens except at Jerrah's "request".
WTF makes these schedules?! This schedule sucks. At Vikes on a Monday night only to turn around and play at the Packers the following Sunday!! They will probably have to stay out there somewhere on a short week. Minnesota and Green Bay are very close in proximity.
are brutal for us Mid-Atlantic folks. Philly on Thursday night a few days before Christmas and Washington on New Year's Day. Pittsburgh in early December is do-able but it would be nicer in September or October.
He's a part for sure. But it is the ratings plus how the networks view the team's strength. Teams expected to be crappy don't get two Monday night games.
We have had 4-5 prime time games for the last 10 years, ODB has nothing to do with it. Since 2006. 4. 2007 5, 2008 5, 2009 5, 2010 4, 2011 5, 2012 5, 2013 5, 2014 5, 2015 5, and this year 5 prime time games again.
We have to get off to a fast start this year....... Â
We can't afford to stumble out of the gates due to poor communication (new players, new staff) and then face the Vikings and Green Bay on the road. Ouch.
Here is to beating Dallas on the road to start the season with a GREAT taste in our mouths. Lets hope JPP knocks Tony Romo out of the game! Not for the season, just the game.
The Einsteins who made up the complete schedule has Denver in about 12 prime time/national games with the Bengals at Houston on Christmas Eve night- so inventive.
for us New England folks, it looks like only two games are guaranteed not to be televised: Week 2 vs. NO, and Week 6 vs. BAL. The Pats are at home at the same time as those games. Obviously there's always the potential for the Boston affiliates to screw with us on a few of the other afternoon games, but at this point it's looking pretty good.
wow, if nothing changes...we totally got Fd on tailgating Â
No imagination what so ever. And no logic either. Again we start off away at Dallas And why the heck they start week 1 with such Key in division match-ups is beyond me.
Also, notice how they are moving more of the more competitive and exciting games to Thursday night so the NFL channel can have them. I think I really hate these Thursday night games more than the players do.
I think the issue won’t matter in September when we’re all glad football is here instead of it being April and people are talking about The Masters and the NCCA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Yawn. Who knows? Maybe the Giants will win. They almost did last year. ..
This is like 5 out of the last 6 years we have played the Vikes away Â
This might be the most bizarre schedule I've ever seen.
Seems that way. At least there's one thing to look forward to in playing the Eagles this year. Both uniforms *should* (keyword, should) look cool.
Last 4 out of 6 on the road. At home for Dallas and Detroit in back to back weeks.
Huh?
All 9 are conference games.
5 are in division.
If they don't at least win 5 of those and 2 of them in division?
Might as well start talking about the 2017 draft.
Fine by me. Better than playing Christmas Eve/Day

Good thing it's in the beginning of October!
They get a cream puff in week 1 every damn year. Meanwhile, we haven't been 1-0 since 2010
what is this, the 1960s and 70s??
where are all the plum 415pm starts??
