aka the Warriors coronation begins tomorrow. I dont see too many upsets in the first round, maybe the Pacers over the Raptors, because the 3, 4, 5, 6 and seeds are all very even.
News to note. I have been mentioning for months now that the ideal person to coach the TWolves is Thibs because he has the pieces of a great defensive team with Rubio/Towns/Dieng. If he could mold Lavine and Wiggins, its just the ideal spot, and rumors are he is their number 1 choice. It almost makes too much sense. If they can win a top 2 selection in the lottery and somehow get Simmons or Ingram..... watch out. I think that will be a good match for both parties involved.
Actually you can move your feet. You are allowed to move forward and backwards, but not sideways. I would think jumping is ok as long as its not to the side.
As far as the no-called, it actually benefitted SA due to the got a steal immediately. However, the most erroneous call was Ibaka literally holding Aldridge preventing him from getting the offensive rebound. You can literally see Aldridge's jersey being pulled around and preventing him from getting the ball.
This series will go 6 maybe even 7 games because the playoffs have been a dud and they need reason for people to watch it. The East playoffs blow. The West were filled with nothing but duds and GS will take care of Portland easily.
2. Mills holding Adams before inbound pass.
3. Leonard holding Westbrook before inbound pass.
4. Ginobili stepping on the sideline before inbound pass.
5. Ibaka fouling Aldridge on his shot attempt.
IMO, all 3 referees should be suspended for the rest of the playoffs. Inexcusable to miss that many calls.
You could say basically any team in the NBA would be favorites to win the title if they consistently got like 75 points from threes in a game, even the Knicks
Go on ESPN. The Cavs Page and Find Lebron Clip saying he has never faced Dwade in the playoffs lol. It is going to be Cavs Heat.
As for Cavs being the Favorites that won't happen they are beating up on weaklings. Heat Will Challenge the Cavs and make them struggle and Golden State will be waiting in the Finals gaining all the hype.
So who do you guys think wins the finals GSW or Cavs?

Heat Cavs will bring the most ratings.

I don't disagree - I think it'll be Heat Cavs too, but I wouldn't go and say it was a bold prediction saying they'd meet next round when they both already have leads in their respective series.
Only down 8 though, which you'd take given the combined performances of their two stars.
These 2 guys need to step up. These are the types of games that turn superstars into legends, OKC needs them and they need them now.
And even with the cap jump they have no cap space to add to this team, matching that offer to kanter was stupid in my opinion
Best of 3.
And to think they nearly got Fostered.
No bueno here. Way too late. Hopefully no 1040 starts in the finals.
This crew may be the worst in the NBA, I don't know how they get a playoff game...
Westbrook and Durant have literally screamed in the faces of the officials and they just laugh it off and wall away...
How Adams does not foul out after every game is beyond me
Really hope this one goes 7.
Leonard and Aldridge never touched the ball and he had 3 timeouts left.
Give the Thunder a shitload of credit for killing the offensive glass late in the game. I don't think I've ever seen a guard be more of a threat to get an extra possession AFTER he shoots than Westbrook. Even after all those injuries, his athleticism and energy are freakish.
I found the Spurs offensive execution in the second half to be poor - lacked the ball movement they are famous for and the only guy driving the offense was Leonard. Aldridge had a terrible night imo and West had no business being in the game. He really hurt the Spurs by getting out worked on rebounds and a really selfish foul on a free throw because he was lazy. His defense was very poor as well. When the Spurs had a chance to expand the lead from 8 he really cost them and allowed some easy points to get momentum back eto Ok.
Also, if LA hits the couple easy looks he had late in the game looks a lot different. That was the difference along with the calls going against the Spurs late (that trip sequence was just brutal officiating)
You just know KD and Russ are angrier at curry than anyone else in the league. GS is too complete but when they have their A game, OKC is a beast.
I hope the Spurs come back.
But OKC has been better
This team won 67 games.

Duncan was worthless these playoffs. Diaw didnt even play. Manu is old and slow. West sucks. They need to build around Kawhi and Aldridge. I dont care how many games they won, the older crew looked like terrible against these guys.
This us their team for the next couple of years minus Duncan and ginobli
Also, I think Duncan is battling a bad knee injury which has caused him to struggle terribly this series.

they arent sniffing them in the playoffs.
Western conference playoffs have the potential to be a colossal dud.
What a dumb statement. Never mind that Spurs aren't playing Duncan or Diaw, it's a close game with Kawhi shooting horrible.
Sgcrts was right on, it was a dumb statement. They couldnt even beat the Thunder. I am sure they would have had a much easier time with the best regular season team ever!!!
I love proving this guy wrong time and time and time......and time again.

NBA is top heavy.
GS: 1-3
OKC: 4-6 (including playoffs)
LAC: 2-1
Cleveland: 1-1
So against the top 4 teams in the NBA, they were 8-11. Not impressive when you break it down.
They went 40-1 at home with the lone loss to the team that broke the wins record. They also had a better point differential when you adjust for total points scored in games vis a vis the Warriors.
The Spurs were fantastic this season. They weren't flawless, but they were historically great.

Their problem was they do not match up with either GS or OKC. If they were in the east, they would be the favorites to get to the finals. But their lack of athleticism, outside Leonard, really cost them against a much younger, explosive OKC. Not saying OKC is thast much better - but the more the series took place, the less of an upset it became.
