I killed it in the NBA last night. My players amassed 282 FD points and I finished on top in fields of 588, 128, 100 and 5 for a total haul of $409 off of a $13 investment. It was bitter-sweet because in the free roll game where first place (out of 61,725) qualified you for entry into the million dollar game, I was in 43rd place late in the 3rd quarter of Hawks-Celtics. I was within 16 points of first place and had MUCH more scoring-power left than anyone in front of me with a quarter and a half to play. I needed the game to remain close so the starters would remain in, if that happened then I had a serious shot of winning it.
But alas, the Hawks pulled away and the starters sat so the scoring stalled for just about everyone. Still, it was a good night. One of these days, I'm going to hit big. I can feel it.
Anyone else have DFS success stories to share? DFS has changed everything. I never had an interest in the NBA outside of the Knicks and now I watch every game I can.
It would really suck if it became illegal in Jersey. I'm hooked. What's the long-range outlook for New York?
